The speaker asserts that without expertise in other fields, study based on one field may not be easy to be advanced. I strongly agree with the assertion because our world is connected by composing different kinds of knowledge together.

On one hand, cooperation takes an important role in research and study. It is very difficult for people with limited knowledge to explore the world. We need to rely on expertise in other field from whom we could observe the world thoroughly, scientifically and authoritatively. Take movie industry for example. Titanic, a famous disaster and love film get succeed by attracting millions of people from all over the world. Without the help of computer scientists, move directors may not produce vivid and imaginary scenes. Without the help of historians, the history in the movie may be distorted. Without the help of musicians, the sound and impressive music moved the mass may not appear. In a world, with the help of expertise in different field, we can be successful more easily.

On the other hand, we can not cut the connection with each field study because every thing in the world is inextricably related. Art, mathematics, physics and so forth may be distinguished from their content and method, what are their common things are that those subjects are based on philosophy. We can use philosophy to explain all of the phenomena. From that point of view, each subject has relation to philosophy at least.

Given we are product promoters, the demands of mass populace are vital to our survival. If we want to sell our products we should incline to our customers needs. What we think is complied with the rule that reality is the first thing we should consider come from philosophy. Moreover, life science should use statistic method to do research. Without statistics, life science could not advance any more.

In sum, we should admit that only use special knowledge no field of study can advance significantly. We should use different knowledge properly to improve the development of one field of study.
