ISSUE154 "Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schooles. Education is too imortant to leave solely to a group of professional educators."

I strongly agree with the author's statement that the education is so important that, besides the educators, we need the involvement of both parents and the communities.

Admittedly, the effect of the professional educator made to the student is significant; they gave the student a more methodological and psychological guidance. And the appliances in the school are professional and accessible. However, only a few of professional educators can not copy with hundred students. Moreover, we have to notice that the time and the space limit that has confined the students to receive more useful knowledge that can not been gained in the school. So the parents and the communities will pay a important role in teaching the children.

First of all, the participation of the parents will demonstrate the children love is most valuable thing in the life. We defined the purpose of the education is not only initiate the knowledge but also the moral affection. With the help of the parents, children and student will know the essence of love and views love as the significant panaceas in everyday life. Raising a puppy and a rabbit in the yard will give them the information that how to care and help the other one. at the same time the necessary of affection and the skill to express will be transmitted by the parents in a subconscious way. We hope our children grow up with sympathy.

Secondly, the community will play a role as the bridge connecting the society and ivory-tower. The requirement of the society will inspire the student to seek more information that does not contain in the book. And the other purpose of the education is to make the students know their responsibility to the society. They need gain the basic skill to earn their lives in the society and make the significance to other member of the society. Mastering the knowledge distilled from the textbook is not enough to handle the problem that will demonstrate in front of them in the future work.
Compared to the basic theoretical information, the real-life troubles are more complicated and with diversity. For example, there are no instructions in the book of how to fix a bike. While in the activities of the community can provide the children and students with more practical skills and the opportunities to get along with people from all kinds of fields.

Thirdly, learning from the parents and community will enlighten the student and broad the horizon of them. The colleague of the parents and the neighbor’s experience will give them better reference when they are caught in the cross, choosing for the future.

In sum, education is not as simple as we may think. It needs the skills that the children may really use and apply in the realism. To achieve our well-being life, we need the guidance of the educator but it is the parents and the communities that we really require the assistant from in the realistic life.
