Is personal economic success maily because conformity, as the author claim so? In my opinion , conformists who strongly associate with cooperation are more likely to succeed in the traditional areas while the non-conformists who in certain degree may means innovation have more opportunities to achieve in newer industries .Therefore, both of them are required and keep in balance to succeed in the fierce competition economic- driven society .

In traditional industries, personal success comes to those who can work most effectively under the restricted established regulation, policies and practices rather than non-conformists .It is true that a creative legal deal and clever ideas might play a important role in winning a small battle. However, the such tactics are those conformists who are playing by the same ground rules as their peers ,winners are just better.

In addition, the successes of those conformists largely depend on their strong sense of cooperation which lead to more effective in working than those who put the individuality as the first one. No one can deny the fact that five fingers are more efficient more one. In this case , conformists tend to foster the habits of appraise teamwork. Only by cooperating with others , can they stimulate the their effectness, solve problem unconciously through discussing some particular problem , cultivate the good term of others as well as expose their ideas to others' way of thinking thus learing more and gaining more. All of these lead to more effectively operation or working and naturally gain the upper hand in the fierce competition.

On the other hand, non-conformists who may more likely to innovate in specail areas have more chance to win the industries which are newer and require more fresh ideas than general industries. An example that occurs frequently with managers and human resources in bussiness in the idea of forming cross-functional task forces by choosing  individual across several different functional areas to adress the particular dilemma facing the company. It is the idea of" thinking outside the box. " or looking beyong the normal solutions that would be proposed by the particular department which is affected by the problem. Only through individuality which in most cases means as innovation, can the company meet consumers' needs to gain the comparable advantages  in the rapid technology development of market-driven economy and survive at last.

In conclusion, without conformists' sense of cooperation ,individuals will be achieve little and ineffectiveness .Without non-conformists' sense of innovation ,individuals will be loss the impulse of competion. And thus , in order to achieve personal economic goal in the society ,the clever choice is that balancely take advantage of both of them.
