TOPIC: ISSUE48 - "The study of history places too much emphasis on individuals. The most significant events and trends in history were made possible not by the famous few, but by groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten."

The statement asserts that just groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten , not the individuals ,lead to the advents of most events and trends in history. I agree broadly with the speaker's assertion that people create history , and they are the owner of history.  But in several realms of society , individuals also make great contribution to society, and their reputations are worthy admiring and learning.

Admittedly, in several realms of society individuals contribution bring about creation and development of these realms. In the study of science,Newton's universal gravitation created classical  physics;Einstein's theory of relativity explored new land of physics;and Darwin's species original displayed the nature relationship of overall species,including human beings.

Moreover, so as to the art  realm,we could find out dramatic flashes attributed to individual efforts. Beethoven's music exists in history as the father of music; The value of Picasso's painting is unimaginable  nowadays; and Charlie Chaplin's play explores the history of amusing  film.

Furthermore  ,in politic respect, individuals represent period hero whose wisdom,   experiences and courage are worthy admiring and directing for contemporary people. We can not look so far away at Chair Mao,who leaded overall Chinese people to proceed for revolution, so as to establish new China-People Republic of China, science  then chinese people hold up our heads in the world,thoroughly casting off hundred of insult history. As a wisdom leader,generations of China respect him, admire  him and learn from him.Certainly,at the same time, we also reasonably  realize that successes of China revolution is not individual success , but attribute to efforts of whole Chinese people, undoubtedly , the built of China is on the basis of our martyrs' blood and sweet. So they all heros in the hearts of Chinese people.

Although, the identities of several groups of people have long been forgotten, we should not forget the events and trends created by them in history. For example,  the salve revolution leading by Abraham  Lincoln  , all black people and justice  white people as the strong support participate in the war, and then they were victory  , establishing decoment politic in America.

Last but not the least, in contemporary time, hero can not take all responsibilities of every respects of society, so society calls for high  quality national to develop our nations to flouring time. We can see that in science realm , scientists cooperate  with each other to carry out researches. In SARS time,all nations cooperate  together to find out medicine  efficiently healing the patients  suffered from SARS. And so as to explore the space , several scientists consist of  community to discuss and explore other planets  ,including astrogeologist , astrobiologist and astrophysicist , and so on.

Consequently, we should treat history not only through famous individuals  but also the people whose identities have been long forgotten, thus we can really realize history.
