Issue5(教育类的最后一篇)A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer.

22:00-23.30    525

The speaker claims that a nation should make a standard of the curriculum before students go to college rather than allow different schools of the nation to determine the academic courses by themselves. I not total agree with his claim.

Some curriculums, which are required courses and antecedent of most specialty curriculums, must have uniform criterion, such as mathematic, English, and Chinese in China. I agree that college entrance exam in China lists mathematic, English and Chinese as three required exam courses. Why should these curriculums be required? Mathematic is a basic knowledge that covers most areas, such as science, technology, sociology, economics and so forth. English is the largest broad language used in the world, plenty of fields need to use it, for example, we should communicate with foreigner about policy issues as a diplomat, and read and study English papers as a scientists, and sometimes do business with other country’s corporation as a businessman. The mother tongue in China is Chinese, so Chinese is the basic for communicating, writing and reading. Therefore, for these basic curriculums the nation should use uniform standard and every school must obey it.

Let every school in the nation to decide the curriculum is not a good idea, which has many disadvantages. Different area of the nation has different education condition like equipments, quality of teachers, ability of finance support. If they decide the courses by themselves, there will be very big gap between different area’s students. When they enter into colleges, this big difference may make some of them from poor education area have low fundamental knowledge level and feel self-contempt. Also it is difficult for the collage to instruct student with different level.

But it is not to say every school should be consistency with each other. As a teacher in the collage, I always find that, most of fresh students do not know what their interests lies in, even why they enter for their majors, while a small part of them have big interests in some aspects such as painting, computer and so on. Once I asked several students why they like painting or computer, the answers were that their parents want him to learn, or the high school have open this interests classes, or his home has a computer. In a word, the situation, which students live in, inspires their interests. So different schools should have some right to determine the curricula to meet the students’ interests. Moreover, because of the difference of economic, and education condition in every area, they should have some right to made their own decision of some curricula, for example, the developed areas can open computer classes uniform while some poor support other curricula which need less money.

In sum, the nation should regulate the required curricula for each school in different areas, but leave some development space for individual school to educate their students, which helps them find their own interests. When students enter into collage, they have consolidated basic knowledge to learn new things, and also have their own desire what they need and want to learn, they will have a broadly developing space in the collage.

The speaker claims that a nation should make a standard of the curriculum before students go to college rather than allow different schools of the nation to determine the academic courses by themselves. I (do )not total(totally) agree with his claim.

Some curriculums, which are required courses and antecedent of most specialty curriculums, must have uniform criterion, such as mathematic, English, and Chinese in China. Let every school in the nation to decide the curriculum is not a good idea, which has many disadvantages. Different area of the nation has different education condition like equipments, quality of teachers, ability of finance support. If they decide the courses by themselves, there will be very big gap between different area’s students. When they enter into colleges, this big difference may make some of them from(好像没有make from句型吧) poor education area have low fundamental knowledge level and feel self-contempt. Also it is difficult for the collage(college) to instruct student with different level.(这段分析还需更加深入)

But it is not to say every school should be consistency with each other. As a teacher in the collage, I always find that, most of fresh students do not know what their interests lies in, even why they enter for their majors, while a small part of them have big interests in some aspects such as painting, computer and so on. Moreover, because of the difference of economic, and education (educational)condition in every area, they should have some right to made their own decision of some curricula, for example, the developed areas can open computer classes uniform while some poor support other curricula which need less money.(这段没有紧扣主题,其实是对论点的论证不够,应该多强调一些论点内容)

In sum, the nation should regulate the required curricula for each school in different areas, but leave some development space for individual school to educate their students, which helps them find their own interests. When students enter into collage, they have consolidated basic knowledge to learn new things, and also have their own desire what they need and want to learn, they will have a broadly developing space in the collage.(结尾总结的很清晰,但缺乏出彩的语言)

总体感觉思路很清晰的,但是语言精益求精哦!还要多多注意第三人称单数的变换,加油加油!
