对的conformity含义把握不好,写出来的东西实在是没有逻辑~~~

There is a growing concern over the issue of benefits of individuality. The speaker in the title advocates that personal economic success requires conformity. At first glance, this opinion seems to be somewhat appealing, but further reflection tells me that I can not fully agree with the author's opinions.

First of all, I must admit that in some cases, conformity can help individuals gain success. In some area, to be successful, we need to cooperate with the other people. When we have different opinions, more communication is needed to solve the problems. Conformity could make it easy for the two sides to communicate with each other and understand each other's ideas profoundly. That means conformity can promote attribution. In some traditional area, such as accounting, insurance and legal service, certain principles have been tested for several times. Following these principles is the safest way to gain benefit. Take consumer-driving industries as example, always smile, patient and kind to clients is the basic principles. If we want to gain benefit in this realm, following these principles to improve our service to attract more clients is the only way to gain more benefic.

Although I agree that conformity may lead us to success in some cases, but I do not think conformity is suitable for every people in every area. Particularly in the realm of high-tech, the one who can rise than other peers always the one who are more creative and judgematical. Overemphasis on conformity might stifle creativity. If Ford conform to old mass production system, maybe the automobiles can not so cheap to buy; if the Wright brother did not try to make airplane, maybe flying in the sky is just a dream for human; if Bill Gates did not attempt to design new operating system, it is hard for us to image how we can operate our computer by using a lot of programs easily. In modern society, mastering high technology can easily lead to economic success. If we just follow most other people in the realm, competition may make us difficult to success. And in the business area, even a risky investment may bring great success. Only sharp-sighted people who do not conform to others can seize the good chance in these areas.

Further more, promoting cooperation does not mean conformity is indispensable to success. In many times, the two sides cooperate not for the reason that they have the same ideas but because through cooperation, they can mutual benefit. Many other factors make great contributions to the economic success. The individuals' hard work, their personal experiences to deal with the difficulty they meet and even their attic faith can play an important role in one's economic success.

From what has been discussed above, we may draw the conclusion that to be successful in economy, conformity is not the indispensable factor. In some areas, conformity is the basic guild line to success, but in some areas, creativity, foresight and many other factors contributes more to the success.
