Although revealing the scandals is not the only best way to attract the concern of out people in the society, I partly agree the statement that  scandals in many fields can be useful for our society to some extent ,which focus our attention on the problems that we might neglected before.  

To begin with, in some fields people's attention might be fairly more easily attracted by scandals than by other ways  to some extent, especially politics, economy, public affairs and so on. Crucially, the scandals may help us to find the truth and where the problems lie, which we probably have ignored for a long time.

Without the scandal about the fake financial statement created by both  Aurther Anderson and Enron, one of former five largest accounting firms in the world along with the company listed the 7th largest firm in United Stats ,the public would still do not aware that we were fooled by the "amazing" financial tricks played the big firms, which bring about the relevant strict policy by SEC in United States. Without the scandal of watergate conspiracy, the public would still do not aware the secret strategies played by the Republican Party and Nixon  in the presidential election, which might make the competition between the Republican and Democratic  more clean to some extent. Without the scandals of the Hwang Woo-suk, the public would still do not aware that he fabricated parts of his pioneering research on cloning human embryos for medical use,which was supposed to be published in Science 2005.  

Secondly, the scandals ,which usually are shocking for the majority of our people , could help us to realize ,understand and evaluate how serious the issue is  from a certain perspective. Significantly, when the outbreak of  Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome took place in the south of China, the irresponsible talk given by the former Health minister revealed that the health ministry underestimated the crisis of the disease , and tried to cover the whole story from the public, which the Chinese people and government have paid for an enormous price after. Fortunately, after the confusion at the very first beginning, the Chinese government endeavored to improve the quick reaction ability to the public affairs and  promote the public information communication and cooperation on essential social issues  with the people in the country, the press and the outside world.   

Admittedly, there is no doubt that we really don't want to see the scandals in our newspaper sincerely, since  this world is the place which we are living in. Significantly , we also could focus our attention on problems through the ways of both legislation and education, which might solve the problems more fundamentally and perfectly.  

To sum up, Although some people with dirty story and some organizations with covered files do not like the "scandal" , from the unusual perspective the scandals could definitely play a essential role on the social governance , not only the politics , academia ,but also other areas, which mainly effected by the way of the media.  Beside, in order to build a more glorious and splendid future for us , there are still a considerable anmouts of other ways to find our all kinds problems in every fields, not only the legislation,but also  the education.
