1.家长和社会对于孩子完整的人格塑造是必不可少的,而且教育的目的并不仅仅是教人以知识,孩子们需要面对的是将来在家庭以及社会中的角色
2.家长和社会的参与能对孩子的学习起到一些促进作用,家长对于孩子会非常的细心,而且他们比那些专业的教育者来说更加了解孩子,这对于引导孩子来说是更有利的,而社会能够使得教会他们实践和交流,这也正是能够让他们实现知识的价值的方式
3.但是家长和社会参与到学校教育中来会导致一些其他的问题,甚至造成混乱,有些家长对孩子的溺爱会导致教育无法正常进行,而过早的接触社会的一些不好的方面会导致孩子朝一个意想不到的方向发展,一些社会的阴暗面甚至会导致孩子对未来的生活心灰意冷
The speaker of the topic makes an assertion that we'd better have parents and communities involved in the local school, rather than leave solely to a group of professional educators. It's tempting because the life time of children can be divided into three main parts: time at school, in family and society. While this claim seems undoubted in the abstract, it still overlook many practical problems.
Firstly, admittedly, education is much more than knowledge because children will have to play the role in society and family in future. The emphasis insisted by schools is mainly on professional skills not the personality which is so vital for the further development of children. Parents and communities are indispensable for kids to build a wholesome character including the cultivation of curiosity and sociability and so forth. In addition, it is the responsibility of education of children, which is considered as one of the most important things nowadays, that everyone should take.
Secondly, both parents and communities can impulse the learning process. Because of the affection, parents will do their utmost and know the suitable education for their children which is impossible for the professional educators because they can not concentrate their attention on everyone. Parents are the first educators for their kids, so no one can know better about their children rather than them. Experts indicate that 0 to 3 years, when children spend almost all time with their parents, are the most important and decisive phase during the children's growth. Meanwhile, the society can teach children the spirit of practice and communication, which are significant for them to realize the value of knowledge. It is conceivable that seeing what they have learned can be used in their life will raise the interest of study.
However, despite of all the advantages, the participation of parents and communities will cause some unexpected problems, or even disorder. Coddle of parents may lead to the obstacle to ordinary teaching process. Sometimes, teachers' assignment is considered as a burden for their children and they may even complete it instead of the children. Moreover, too early to have contact with society will result in an unhealthy development in their humanity since they don't have the judgment of right and wrong. Some children may become negative and pessimistic if they know some dark aspects of society. There's no doubt that the one enter the society at an early age will become more mature than their contemporary, which is, to some degree, a loss for children that can not enjoy the happiness of childhood.
In sum, taking all the factors into account, cooperation of the three parts can bring the best atmosphere for education. Therefore, to make sure that children are well prepared for their own and also the society future, we should combine the instruction of attainment of knowledge with the participation of family and community and we must also try to avoid the negative sides of the participation. |
