As more and more science fiction films show today, we human being and machines, which would be supervisor, is a controversial issue. Some people argue that as a tool of mankind, machine machines are inferior to man, while some people are anxious about that machines will be superior to mankind in future. On balance, I would agree that although machines can do more excellent job than human in some aspects, it could not exceed human’s creativity and supervise human beings.

It is known to us today that a machine called “Deep Blue” defeated Kasparov Garry, the most famous chess player in the world in 1997, which make many people raised eyebrows. Thus it can be seen machines are much better than us in analysis and computation. Also in memory and searching information we could not surpass machines, as we always take something for granted, while machines analyze the situation with the program written by human. As a result, we could make uses of machines in some aspects such as computing, analyzing, and some jobs not suitable to human to exert their advantage.

However, the machines are on earth impersonal products of human beings, which congregate a lot of human intelligence. See the history of machines, it is human’s wisdom that to drive forward each reform of machines in order to make our life more convenience and comfortable. Without creativity, machines could not develop all by themselves; even the “cleverest” machine must follow the program the organizer written beforehand. Unlike us human, they cannot automatically duplicate or evolve, thus the extent of their potency will always be inferior to its originator: human. Many scientists predict we will release from some tedious work and what we should do is to improve machines again and again. Additionally, man’s mind is too complex to be imitated and surpassed. Considering the numerous cells and their interactions in man’s brain, it is a long journey for us to fathom the delicacy of the brain, let alone creating a system as sophisticated as man’s brain.

In conclusion, machines are tools of human beings, which can never be supervisor to human beings. As an ancient Chinese proverb says “A workman must sharpen his tools if he is to do his work well”, we human can use machines’ advantage to make up for our disadvantage, and create more machines to serve us.
