Should all nations help support the development of a global university aiming at the solving of the world's most persistent social problems? In my opinion, as the problems of human beings become more and more worldwide, the students should engage themselves in the process of dealing such problems in global university as well.

It is obvious that the pace of globalization is accelerating ever faster, however, the globalization may contains some other respects except for the commercial ones, many widely influencing issues such as the transferring of pollutants, the Greenhouse effect and the problems of terrorism also escalate into the worldwide level. We can not deny the fact that the economic globalization results in the industrial globalization. Nowadays, investing abroad becoming more and more convenient, thus many dominating companies rush to set up oversea factories due to the relatively low labor price, cheap raw material costs and maybe the incomplete law systems. As a result, by such methods many factories with their heavy polluting manufacturing machines and techniques are dispersed all over the world. It is ironic that the developing countries gain the ability to make many low-technology products accompanying with high level pollutants. Since then, the problem of pollution is globalization too.

Facing with the urgent problems or to say crisis of whole human beings, the only solution is to accumulating all of our forces together. Successful examples such as preventing the ozone layers from diminishing inspired all the countries worldwide. Since 1970's, many scientists warned that the ozone layer was endangered by some chemical substances(especially CFCS used in the refrigerators), and during the 1980's when the ozone layer above both Arctic and Antarctic were about to disappeared totally, when the phenomena and the dreadful results of the ozone gaps were scrutinized, every country spared no efforts in prohibiting the use of CFCs. Almost all countries signed international pacts about protecting ozone, still many legitimated specific laws domestically and allocated a lot of money in developing substituting chemicals. Thanks to the endeavors of the last generation, at present, the ozone gap maintains stable and some scientists even predict that with the nature synthesis process, both windows over Arctic and Antarctic will close in several decades. This relieving yet alarming message illustrate the necessity of joint effort in the international affairs.

According to the globalizations of both human crisis and international efforts, it is distinguishable that some global universities are nothing but indispensable. In such universities, students from all over the world may discuss the imminent and eminent issues of human beings face-to-face. Comparing with the traditional domestic discussion which focus mainly on the problems and solutions rather regionally, these students are able to take far more respects into consideration because of their varied backgrounds, religions and perceptions. Therefore, it is more likely to reduce the ignorance and discriminations between regions, nations, countries or even continents, thus the discussion results tend to be more comprehensive. Moreover, governments should take full responsibility in establish such universities.
In summary, with the help of many modern technologies, the distances between countries are declining each single day, the Earth seems to be just as small as a village. Consequently, the problems of one country will also be viewed as a question to all the countries, under such situations, some global universities are necessary.

Should all nations help support the development of a global university aiming at the solving of the world's most persistent social problems? In my opinion, as the problems of human beings become more and more worldwide, the students should engage themselves in the process of dealing such problems in global university as well.
