Education does not end with graduation. However, before children graduate form school, do parents and teacher teach them enough knowledge and competence to adapt the society? Or, what education is the real education that can cultivate children sophisticated enough to undertake their responsibility in the future? The problem is worth of consideration.

First, I completely agree with the point of view of children determines the destiny of society. We often say that children are the future. If a society cannot teach its next generation well, it means the nation will lost its hope and tomorrow. Hence, each nation considers children education as a vital aspect of development of the country. A deficient education system will lead a series of problems to society. For example, after the world war two, because America defeated in the Vietnam War and American young generation were shocked and depressed by the result of the war. The cruel fact made them feel despair and grieve. In addition, most of them were totally lost their direction and ambition. They were named as "beat generation", and drug, frigaround and punk music are the mainstream of the period. Although we can attribute the reason to political aspect, the education has unavoidable responsibility as well.

Admittedly, we must accept a fact that our education system is not perfect yet. There are still many defects existing in various aspects of education. For example, we often accept some disillusionary facts passively, such as suicide cases of students, gun shot cases frequently happening in middle school, and the prevalence of drug in middle school and so on. All of those are embodiments of limitation that exist in unsophisticated education system, but often neglected by us, or, we can say, at least, now, it seems hard to handle for us.

However, obviously, "hard to handle" is not a reasonable excuse. We ought to face the fact with a positive attitude. Although we admit our deficiencies in process of education, we will not overlook the defects, even give up the education. Improving education quality and extending education range can provide us with more opportunities to get success in raising children. The school should help students to cultivate some important qualities beyond the knowledge, such as responsibility, confidence, endurance, which will make the students more sophisticated when they access the society, and they can adapt to the society readily. Completing psychology consultation system in school, intensifying communication between teachers and students, parents and children, providing students with more practice opportunities and so on, admittedly, we have a lot of complex and arduous work to do, but there is a significant meaning supporting us, which is our work will change the destiny of the whole country being better, even change the history of human being. A case in this point is in China, the students graduate from vocational school are more competitive than students graduate from university, which is because the vocational school emphasize students’ work ability more than knowledge itself, they teach students knowledge for application rather than knowledge. Consequently, at least, the students in vocational school can adapt to their job more readily.

In sum, more and more people take account into that education is not only limited in the range of knowledge. A flexible and complete education system including the instructions for various aspects of students will be more advantageous for the development of students, and the whole country.
