二十次作业: writing(Government): Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space (for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets). Other people disagree and think governments should spend this money for our basic needs on Earth. Which of these two opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. 21:10 As the rapid development of society and more drastic competition among countries, government tries their best to improve the level of social economy and people's life. And at the same time, governments have more money to serve society from tax. So here comes a hectic debate: whether governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space or our basic needs on Earth. As far as I concerned, government should develop the outer space exploration on the base which people are living a happy and healthy life. Firstly and foremost, the development of technology is the primary reason for me to support the space exploring. As we all know, the exploring of the space could not neglect the invention of new and high level technology. As this new technology using in our daily life, lives of regular dwellers can be numerously ameliorated. For example, most of the exploring activities have to complete by some automatics. On the other hand, when the automatic technology has been successful in the space, it can also serve people's lives on earth, since there are some work condition that is not suitable for human being to complete on earth either, such as high temperature, high expression, and other extreme condition. Moreover, the technology and science developing due to space exploring not only ameliorate people's work condition, but also enhance the efficiency and speed of social development. Some results of researches related on space are greatly changing our life style and make our communication more efficient. The using of radio in our life is the best example. Thanks to the success of radio in space exploring, we can have a clear and smooth communication of our friend and relatives through the information transmitted by satellites in the space. To some extent, our lives have been greatly pushed by space exploring. In addition, the space exploring is gradually becoming the necessary part of government developing strategy for government. Almost all city dwellers are bothered more or less by the deterioration of living environment, such as worse living condition, traffic jam, crowded department, and short of natural sources, and so on. There are numerous potential dangers around us. It is not a imagination that people have to find another world to live in outer space any more. So in this case, exploring outer space is more necessary than developing basic needs on earth. To sum up, as the reasons pointed above, the idea that governments should spend money exploring outer space has to be supported, which benefit human beings in the future. |
