12月第三周第十二次作业Issue48   "The study of history places too much emphasis on individuals. The most significant events and trends in history were made possible not by the famous few, but by groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten."

To some extent the study of history truly places emphasis on individuals. Almost every significant historical event was marked by at least one famous name. However, the greatest change in the history was operated by the groups of people, some time it was a class sometimes it was a Party, the Party identities surely be memorized by the history. Thus, I disagree with the issue that the study of history places so much emphasis on individuals that ignore the importance of the groups of people who made the historical events in fact.

Admittedly, the history was push forward not by the few famous people but the great people. It was the people who create the variety modern products support our comfort life, at the same time, industry the word product force which basis the development of the history.

Which cannot be denied that the army without generous is not a completed army. If Napoleon was taken place by a normal soldier, then their will never be such a large empire administered by French. The Independence of the America is a history event cannot be avoided even the leader’ place was not seated Washington. Thousands of people had desired freedom and fairness for such long time. The leader is just a people stand out to present others’ opinions.

Furthermore, what is history? History is the modern people express the past event though the related material. it is impossible to record all the names of a history event in the past considering the shabby condition of the strongest event such as wars or evolutions, which need highly secret protection for the fluent process as be planed. Remain material was very limited, which make up the great difficulty to study the history.

Since the ascent times the minority 统治 the majority, the history was written for record the great contribution of the kings or the nobles, not for the people work in the field or the soldiers killed in the battle. Science then the basic history system was built on the 颂歌of the 统治阶级，and the amount of the 统治阶级 is always smaller than the operating works. So that would be a common thing to find many names of the famous few in the history but few mentioned about the groups.   

认知学上讲，ordinary people can not remember too many names in a certain field, the people who had made significant contribution or with other outstanding feature will be easy to learn. As well as 传播学上讲，the 具体的name with 确定的face communicated easily.

Finally, the issue may reasonable when it comes to the situation that in modern era filled with human concerning. More and more people concern the common people’s life, in this perspective the history may be a little more emphasis on individual than groups. Now teamwork spirit is the world sprit, in order that almost no corporation will hire an employee without teamwork sprit. Every one works in a team knows their team before he knows himself. But we cannot  推广this figure in subject way to the history.

Nevertheless we cannot generalize this figure in subject way to the history.
