TOPIC: ISSUE159 - "The human mind will always be superior to machines because machines are only tools of human minds."
WORDS: 524 DATE: 2007-12-24 13:31:12
提纲:
1.机器是被设计出来的工具,帮助人类节约许多时间和劳动力,在这方面它们显示出不可替代的优势。
2.但是机器缺少思想,无法自我更新,只有人类思想才能不断有新的想法,机器不可能走在人的前面。
Will the human minds always be superior to machines? Of course yes. Admittedly, not only does machine which is instead of people to do various things save us time and labor, but also it helps our human beings finish the tough tasks which we're unable to complete within our abilities. However, invented and designed by human, machines only try to realize what we want to do but cannot accomplish, following our arrangement, and give the feedback information to human minds. And they can not come up with brilliant ideas beyond human, while human minds can refresh the machines frequently. After all, machines are only tools of human minds.
It is clear that since its very advent, machine has displayed great advances in saving our time and labor from our daily life to the industries. For example, Watt's invention-the stream engine informs a revolution of the industry, significantly improving the speed of production. And the telephone dealt with the inconvenient connection from the distant place. More recently, the birth of the computers settle the problems about the innumerable counting tasks, which men never could do. The assemble-line makes the manufacturing of the cars more efficient than ever before. Again, regarding to the dangerous fields such as the nuclear industry and the manufacture, machine can replace people to do the experiments. In the nuclear industry, due to the radiant rays and poisonous gases jeopardized to human health, robots are being created to participate in the research instead of men. Consider the manufacture, taking the process of producing the car's components-the doors for example. To form these doors outline the metal plates should be modeled in the grand punching machine. By the strong effects of friction, there is plenty of heat releasing far beyond human bear in this process. Without human-made machines, it is impossible to obtain these products.
As discussed above, it is tempting to agree with that machines deal with so many things instead of human beings that they are superior to human minds. On the contrary, human minds own the superiority over our machines. At the angle, machines have no capacity for independent thought, for making judgments based on normative consideration, or for developing emotional responses to intellectual problems-let alone for graduating innovational ideas. We have devised machines such as computers that perform number-crunching and other rote cerebral tasks with greater accuracy and speed than human minds ever could. In fact, it is because we can devise machines that are superior in these respects that we devise them as our tools. They won't renew themselves unless human mind would promote them. That is to say, the perspective of machines is under the control of human minds, how can machines go to the front of human minds? Only depending on the brilliant ideas created by human, machines will serve the human much better.
In sum, the invented machines turn the human minds into the fact showing great advantages and serve human beings well. Yet, lacking of the abilities of creation and refreshing and the so-called “emotion intelligence”, machines have no choice but to be tools of human minds, thereby always being lagged by human minds.
看了一下北美范文好像不是很一样,不知道是不是有点偏题?题目中是说将来好像我没有说将来的部分。Grace想请教一下各位大虾!
