There is an extensively accepted notion that a competent teacher should be both outstanding in communicating with students and excellent in acquaintance with knowledge which he tutors. But which one is more important than another? As far as I am concerned, the capacity of communicating with students is more significant to not only students' achievement of academic knowledge but also students' development of their bodies and characteristics. And I have a couple of reasons to list.

First of all, students will encounter a great number of problems in the process of their study. Only relying on affluent knowledge, teachers can hardly pass on knowledge to students effectively and help students obtain big accomplishment in their learning. For example, if students have difficulty in following teachers at classes, teachers can mainly solve this problem by changing the teaching skill and improving their teaching abilities. Moreover, it is clear that almost every classroom has several students who do not conform to school's rules and teachers' regulations such as talking at classroom and fighting each other during classes. If teachers can not control the condition efficiently, it is difficulty for them to instruct students well even if they have a great deal of knowledge. On the contrary, if teachers have excelled capacities in exchanging ideas with students, they would be familiar with students' response and could coordinate the atmosphere of teaching timely.

In the second place, students' family conditions have undeniable effect on their education, so interacting with students better can help teachers know students thoroughly and it is helpful to students' education. For instance, if a student' parents frequently abuse him for his bad performance in study, eventually, that student's study becomes worse and worse. In this case, teacher can access to this problem fast only if he adept at communicating with students. Therefore, great abilities in communicating with students can set up an essential bridge between teachers and students' family members. This bridge will play an important role in students' education.

Last but not least, the maturity of students has great impact on students' study. In order to reduce this influence to minimum, teachers should communicate brilliantly with students and deal with the boresome issues of students during their growing. What's more, it is necessary for teachers to tackle students’ problems individually since students' privacies frequently are not convenient to be opened up. Therefore, teachers' communicating abilities lay great foundations for students’ maturity.

To sum up, I think that perceivable communicating abilities of teachers are indispensable for educating students and keeping students in good conditions. Therefore, teachers are required to possess strong communicating skills in order for better education of students.
