Which is more important, family or job? When it comes to this question, different people hold differing attitude toward it. Some people think that having more time to work is of much greater importance, while others think that being with families is much more vital. As far as I am concerned, spending time with family members is more significant. I will explain my reasons as follows.

It is true that working plays a pivotal role in people's lives. People work to earn money, and then they can use the money to improve their lives. They also can realize their value through working. However, spending too much time on job can cause a lot of problems. One obvious problem is that overworking can make people feel exhausted, and easier to become sick, what is more, even die. Statistics shows that every year, there are a lot of people who die because of overwork. In addition, exhausted situation may render them lack of energy, hence affects the next day's work, which finally forms a vicious circle.

Meanwhile, that people spend more time on job means that they have less time with their families, family relationship will become weak. After a whole day's work, people are very weary, what they want to do may just have a good rest. Thus, they probably come back home, and soon have a rest, but do not have time to have a talk with families. Children may want to ask them for some help, their parents may want to communicate with them on some topics. If they are tired, they may unwilling to do such things, and the relationship between family members may become weak.

On the other hand, if people spend more time on being with families, they will have deep understandings of their families. At the same time, they will receive more cares from their family members, which may reassure their working pressure. They will be much easier and happier, and can keep healthy psychological conditions, which may improve their working efficiency to some extent. They may also feel satisfied, because their families and they can enjoy the money they earned.

Based on what are discussed above, a conclusion can be made that although working is very important, spending time with families is much more vital, because not only it can enhance the family relationship, it can also make people feel easy and happy. Thus people will have a more positive in job.
