When asked about whether all nations should help support the development of a global university, people may find it hard to come to consensus due to their different experience and views. From my perspective, I think the development of a global university is important but it also has its limitation. Moreover, the result of a global university may not well enough as we expect.

It is meaningful for world nations to cooperate with each other in establishing an international university where teachers and students from all over the world work together for the good for all nations. Of course, we know that the world's most persistent problems include environmental pollutions, energy crisis, conflicts and wars between nations, and so on. If we establish a global university, we may have a chance to solve these problems and promote mutual understanding and cooperation among the youth worldwide. In addition, the people who take this university are the elite in each country and a global university creates an environment for cultivating such as international spirit. In this way, we can make contribution to the world peace at the same time.

We also should know that there is a distance between the people finished the university and the experts who can solve the problems in fact. The university can give the students much knowledge but the students may only know some theory knowledge and lack of experience. The experience may need several years to gain and, at that time, the conditions of the problems may have changed. So the social problems may not due to a global university and research institutions have the abilities to solve these problems. For instance, depending on several years’ research, the experts may make a suggestion which can solve the problems in fact. So we should not expect too much that the students finished the global university can solve the social problems right now.

The conditions of each country are different, so the result of a global university may not well enough. For the difference of each country's persistent social problems, we can not expect that a global university can use the fixed lessons to describe the difference probably. For example, the social problems of Middle-East are different from the social problems of Africa. In Middle-East, people may pay much attention on Islam but in Africa, citizens may draw their attention to racial conflict. It is possible that different areas training their person with ability are more probably. Above this, we may know that we should take the result of a global university seriously.

To sum up, due to the aforementioned reasons, which sometimes intertwine to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive than any single of them, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that the development of a global university is important but it also has its limitation. Besides this, we also should take the result of a global university into account.
