Nowadays, the ability to cooperate is more important than past? Agree or disagree?

In my mind, I couldn't agree more with the point that the ability to cooperate is more crucial than the past. There are a couple of reasons to name.

Firstly, due to the refinement social division of labor, workers and companies begin to cooperate more tightly then the past in order to achieving high efficiency. As we all know, with the fast development of science and technology, traditional work has been divided into special parts, thus making workers to manipulate a single part of the whole. As a result, cooperation among different worker as well as workshop becomes closer than ever before. Accordingly the efficiency of workers improves greatly. Take car industry as an example. Before the appearance of Ford, cars were the luxuries only for the rich. But with specification of car production in Ford's workshop, workers' efficiency improved greatly and therefore the price of cars reduced a lot thus making Ford cars appear in populace's home. So, cooperation plays more important role in our daily lives than the past.

Moreover, interdisciplinary cooperation becomes more common than before. Nowadays with the dramatically development of different disciplines, interdiscipline appears and becomes one of the most hot realms that most scientists concerned. And most of scientists consider that interdiscipline is the result of cooperation among different disciplines. Biochemistry is a typical example. Due to the close cooperation between biology and chemistry, a new discipline--biochemistry has been set up by the scientists in either biology or chemistry. What’s more, the close cooperation among different disciplines would improve the development of interdiscipline dramatically. In this sense, cooperation is the power of developing and improving for disciplines.

In sum, cooperation is the results of society development and it becomes more and more important than the past. With closely cooperation between different areas as well as different groups, our lives would become more and more convenient and comfortable.

感觉楼主第二段有关汽车的例子和cooperate 关系不太大啊，cooperate 主要是讲人与人之间的关系。本人觉得可以说汽车制造商和零售商之间的合作使得汽车销量增长，遍及各家各户。 第三段多学科合作是比较好的例子，还有首段和末段简洁又有吸引力，学习了！
