@9u7h/|o,xSome people believe that a college or university education should be available to all students. Others believe that higher education should be available only to good students. Discuss these views. Which view do you agree with? Explain why. 高等教育是否应该给所有的学生？还是给优秀的学生？

Higher education is not suitable to every student as for some of them, it is wasteful time to study in college, who are uninterested in more knowledge. For those should spend time in technical training at young age, so they may have jobs in the future. From my view, college education is not available to all the students.

In the first place, some specific vocations do not need higher education. If one is interested in train driving and mechanic, then he/she may not stay in college for four years, and for them, going to technical high schools is a better way to reach their goals. Taking China as a good example, presently, under the development of industrial, mechanics have advanced situations from blue collars. Some of youngsters studied in technical high school can find good paid mechanical jobs after get trained in specific areas. Meanwhile, working as workers and mechanics are dissimilar from what people thought decades ago, dirty cloth and polluted working environment disappeared. With the improvement of industrial technology and investment from international companies, the working conditions are much better, in BMW, those car making mechanics are in the same neat suits and get paid high. Therefore, for some students who are not interested in higher education, it can save their time not to stay in colleges.

Furthermore, some students have special gifts should not study for higher education. There are writers who became famous at early ages in junior middle schools or high schools. They have their specific views and mind of the world, which is cannot be educated from colleges. Sometimes, higher education can limit one’ imagination. Bill Gates quit his study in university and set up IBM with his wisdom and ability. There are still some young people acted like Bill Gates, even if they are not as famous as him, but have nice jobs they like.

In conclusion, higher education is not available for every students because for parts of them just want to work without more knowledge, and some have their own gifts to complete in the futures.
