Agree or disagree: Teachers should assign homework for students every day. (2007.1.13,学习教育类)

It is universally acknowledged that learning is the very process of consistency in repetition. For students, only by continuous repetition can they master knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to assign homework to students every day. Nevertheless, some people think that daily homework will bring about some burden for students. But in my opinion, I believe that daily homework will do have good influence on students.

In the first place, by doing daily homework assigned, can new knowledge be reviewed without delay, and at the same time, students are able to prepare for new knowledge in the next lesson. Students not only can deal with questions and absorb knowledge learned as soon as possible, but also have a general understanding of the knowledge will be learned. Hence, students could benefits a lot from daily homework.

In the second place, students can start a good habit of doing daily homework on time. A good study habit is very significant for students. By keeping doing daily homework, students are not lazy in study. In the meantime, they force themselves to have to finish their daily homework. In addition, knowledge taught in class has its limitation, and teachers can help students extend their board of knowledge by assigning homework. Furthermore, students are very willing to grasp much knowledge out of class.

Admittedly, we can not deny the fact that a large amount of daily homework can give students overloaded burden to bear. Thus, students gradually are weary of studying. At the same time, tedious homework can arrest students’ creative ability and occupy the time for self-study. Therefore, teachers should take into account of the possible negative effect of overwork on students.

Finally, from what discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that even though sometimes too much daily homework will result in great burden and stress on students, it is very necessary to assign the proper amount of homework to students.
