The social status and the life experience influence the people’s life dramatically, especially the way they enjoy life. So people in different stage, saying the young and the older people, live a different life. Some claim that the young enjoy life better than the older people, which I quite agree.

First of all, the young are easier to get access to all those means for enjoying life, but it is different for the older people. With the development of the technology, so many machines and apparatus are invented and all these tools are meant to provide an easier and happier life for human beings. I apologize that such advantages can’t be enjoyed by all people since it is quite distinctive between a young adult and an older people when learning such complex things. A prime example is using the computer to surf the Internet. I quickly learnt how to operate it but it’s an impossible job for my father to learn it. The result is that I can always find some amusement in the network and deal with so many things in through the network, while my father has to go to the mobile service center to pay for mobile fee. Hence such differences in access to those better life facilities lead that we young enjoy life better than those older people.

On the other hand, the difference of value view has also contributed to this phenomenon. Although the older people may have more money therefore could be able to enjoy a much easier and better life, they, however, may keep the money for some emergency conditions, some diseases for instance. It mostly results in a small budget in a better life. However, the young mostly insist that making money is for the purpose of enjoying a better life, and they don’t have such torment of facing some emergence diseases. They therefore are willing to use money to buy a better life. I think an example of my grandfather would make sense. Every time I go to the KTV bar for some amusement, he would be puzzled, why you spend money on such meaningless things? This is really caused by different value view.

Taking all above into account, we can safely draw the conclusion that the young enjoy a better life than those older people, due to difference in both accesses to those better life means and the value view.
