With the development of society and technology as well as the expansion of our knowledge ,people became to think that it is of great importance to establish a global university for the purpose of solving the world 's most persistence social problems .As far as I am concerned ,I partly agree with the speaker's assertion .
    The primary argument for a global university is the trend of globalization today.The  Chinese saying "making a buggy behind a closed door "signifies an attitude that leads to failure .In view of ever increasing speed of transportation and telecommuication , we live in a global village .Interaction and interdependence are no longer a luxury or an option , unless one wishes to be left out and left behind  .In such a global university ,different people ,different races ,different nations will bring different ideas as well as methods in seeking resolution for the same societal problems .So the communication among nations is very necessary in order to solve the problems properly . For instance ,the HGP ( Human Genome Project ) which is now being carried out by several countries , is likely to accelerate its process by direct communication in a global university.
   The second reason why I agree with the speaker is that there are so many complex and serious ploblems such as the protection of environment ,the shortage of resources ,the  nuclear war that without all country's efforts ,the way to solve these problems seems impossible .Let's take the protection of environment for example .If the Pacific Ocean suffers from redioactive pollution , the neighboring countries won't be able to survive .We all know that such pollution will bring a disaster to all human beings ,so this kind of pollution urges all the nations to strengthen the cooperation between countries ,searching for a resolving method. So from this point ,we can see that it's do of great importance to  establish a global university ，which can gather the scattered efforts and studies around the world  by providing the professional and  effective resolvent .
   Just as a coin has its two sides ,the establishment of such a university has certain problems of its own .The first question we have to face is that in such a university ,each nation has its own special cultural background .Violation of the subtle balance between different nations of different religions should be carefully avoided. A second problem inherent in establishing a global university is that most persistence social problems are not pure academic problems ,which effected  by politics and many other factors .So it is impossible for a global university to achieve a satisfying answer through cooperation between students and scholars from various backgrouds .
   In sum , a global university for the purpose of solving the world 's most persistence social problems will be the bridge of communication ,scientists and experts from all the world can cooperation with each other and can share their knowledge and experience .If all the nations  can remain open-minded and have great revolution to overcome the political obstacles ,such unversity  will benefit not only some nations but all  human -beings .

所有的国家都应该帮助建立起一个全球性的大学，用来培养学生门解决世界上最顽固头疼的社会问题。
中文提纲：部分同意
1。世界有竞争合作的趋势
2.很多问题一个国家无法解决，例如水污染问题
3.事情都有两面性，其一多文化应该避免冲突，其二许多事情不单纯是学术，受到政治的影响。
总结：部分同意建立如此一所大学，但有注意事项。
