竟然比昨天的144还难写呢,写了好久,字数还比昨天少了100多个。。。

Competition is ultimately more beneficial than detrimental to society.
------正文------
Competition is an activity of struggling and conflicting between individuals, groups, and organizations, having emerged and existed ever since the appearance of human beings. The statement asserts that competition is ultimately more beneficial than detrimental to society, a fact that has been proved by human development.

First of all, competition among individuals compels each of them to improve oneself as well as to search for accompanies. Students have to increase their knowledge accumulation as to enter best schools, and doctors have to study new medical methods in order to attract more patients. They are willing to form groups with friends, enhance communications to acquire more information, and cooperate with each other to become strong and powerful. Though individual competition also induces press and unhappiness, as sometimes students are too busy to enjoy hills in spring, beach in summer, harvest festivals in autumn, and happy new years in winter, and doctors of the same field may criticize each other severely instead of showing appropriate respect, this kind of competition eventually provides individuals of more knowledge than they have originally possessed, rewards them of skills, better positions, as well as close friends, and enlarge the content of academy.

Besides, competition among groups and organizations makes better resource distribution in human society. Powerful ones, with high efficiency of natural and human source usage, gain more supplies, markets, and profits, while weak ones, on the contrary, gradually lose resources and opportunities, diminishing by degrees or combined by the former. Though having some sorrow to the latter and their members, who may consequently experience poor and difficult situations, the entire human society receives higher producing efficiency, academically and economically, as less money and energy is wasted on unreasonable research topics, and more income is achieved with the same investment. Thanks to competition, low productivity is deserted, abnormal phenomena are corrected, and society has been developing quickly and properly. Additionally, those who are defeated in competition are forced to develop themselves again in order to overcome difficulties and grasp chances the next time, which brings society new possibilities. Though severe and fierce sometimes, group competition at last offers a better resource distribution, enhance social development, and makes human beings thrive.

In conclusion, facts have proved that competition is ultimately more beneficial than detrimental to society. It compels individuals to develop themselves, accumulate personal skills as well as social associations, and forces society to reach better resource distribution. As a result, individuals become stronger and more intelligent, social activities become more appropriate and efficient, and the evolvement of human civilization performs fast and aptly.
