4、"No field of study can advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study."

In this issue, the author claims the importance of discipline interaction and I strongly agree with this opinion for the reason that,as we know, no field of study is isolated. Though the classification of fields is increasingly deeper, there is still no discipline which has no relationship with other ones. And I would like to expatiate on my reasons as follows.

The most significant reason for the assertion that the improvement of one field of study needs the knowledge from other field is that every field of study is interrelated and can not completely be cut apart. It is no surprise that one domain of study is developed basing on the improvement of another discipline. A case in point is that mathematics is the foundation of physics. Though physics paid more attention to research on the mechanization of event, actually, mathematics is served as tools and models, with which mechanizations can be described precisely and the tend of event can be correctly prospected, in physics. It is not difficult to imagine that without the development of mathematics, physics may still wonder in the period of rude estimation and guess. Even though scientist of physics can get the right datum of experience through calibrations, they do not know what the relationship between these data is no mention to uncover the hidden formulas of the fact.

Another reason that can well explain why I agree with the issue is that, generally, the advancement of one field of study is the permission of significant advancement in another field. Take the discipline of computer as an example, not long before, though the computer can calculate at a astonishing speed compared to human being, it is still too large to be applied in every day use for civilians, however, the condition has changed along with the invitation of a special material which can store large sale of circuit in a small chip. The discovery of such magic material is certainly the brake through in the physics, while, without usage of this new technology of physics, the computer science can never enter such new generation. This example illustrate well that without taking advantage of the development in other domains of science it might be impossible for one domain of science to achieve significant advancement.

What's more, the knowledge and experience of other field of study can also bring new ways of thinking, which is extraordinary crucial to the advancement of science. The case that two discipline which seem to be far from similar to each other can process the same distributions in some aspects and can consequently give each other the implies which may hardly be got from the interior of the own domain of society. For instance, the development of the helicopter had once given much trouble to the mechanical engineers. Though they were erudite and experienced in designing planes, they were confused about the question that how to make a plane get out and load at a relatively small place without the long runway. The confusion has not been solved until the study of dragonfly from the domain of biology being introduced to them. The special fly manners of the dragonfly exactly met the requirement of these the technologists and the body structure of dragonflies is the enlightenment of the helicopter design.

结尾:
As conclusion, all domains of science are inextricably related. Without communications of each other it will be hard for one to get improvement or even be carried on. The experience of other fields of study can serve as foundations, preconditions or even hints to one field of society.
