The speaker asserts that it is putting ideas existed already together but not considering the things never thought before that the originality really is. I concede that sometimes originality based on old ideas, however I disagree with the statement when I consider so many instances of originality unrelated or even reversed to the existing theories.

There are many newly appeared things which are produced on the base of other theories or techniques - a unique way of using old things or ideas. The computer is a case in point. Without the simple binary system there will not existed the complex computer programmes, aside from all the benefits it brings to the human beings. There are more instances which illustrates this point well in the realm of science research. Such as the technique of clone and the project of genome, which will only remain the stage in the fictions instead of becoming reality without the discovery of the law of genetics and the structure of DNA.

However, there are so many examples of new theories which have little relation to the existed ones. Consider the principle of relativity - one of the milestones of the development of physics - which is so different from the theory system already built by Newton and other scientists that can not be treated as the production of that theory. Another similar evidence is the quantom theory, which started a long period discussion and finally be proved correct. There are many theories just like these two which are created specifically.

Moreover, the old ideas may not promote the development of new theroies, or even harm to them when there are some faults already existed. Taking the discovery of the stucture of DNA as an instance. When the prevailing opinion was that triple helix was the structure of DNA - as Pauling suggested, who is the authority of the chemistry research - Waston and Crick was misleaded for a long period before finding the double helix structure finally. Not only doing researches, many other realms are repleted with similar examples. George Lois - so-called the bad child of the Madison Ave. - went opposite to the rigid bible of advertisement, which comes from Ogilvy - the authority of the advertisement realm - and then give uncountable 'big ideas' by his talent. Von Gogh is another case in point for his attaching to his own way of painting without considering other's opinion. Although the way of going opposite of the prevailing thought is full of difficulties, there are many people attained successes at last. Their originalities benefit to the discipline or even the whole world.

In general, old ideas is not bible of doing anything. There exist many spheres that have not being discovered and considered by us human beings. Whether the originality comes from the old ones depends on the knowledge and the system of the sphere. If the realm has already be well built and almost every corner have been well researched, it is nearly impossible to make originality departing from the old theories. Otherwise, being open-minded can not be neglected as it is a good way to success.

In sum, the statement as the speaker contends is too extreme. It is the old ideas that the foundation of some new ideas, but many evidences illustrate that most originalities are apart from the existing theories or even go opposite. Sometimes only may depending on the existing thought be useless or even harmful.

(A normal start. Notice: I guess you want to spit the statement into two points, but you mingled it together in your sentence. First, you concede.., then, you disagree ... Do you agree or disagree? 看起来象在耍太极，你要么同意，要么不同意。要么就是同意它一部分。个人觉得你的句子容易造成歧义。。直接说disagree 不是很好，换个委婉的方式容易接受一些。)

Alothgh the way of going opposite of the prevailing thought is full of difficulties, these people attain successes at last. Their originalities are benefitcal to the discipline or even the whole world.
（中心句是错误的旧理论不仅不会推动新理论，还可能会对新理论造成伤害。你想说的其实是很多新理论跟旧理论的结果相反，好，结果不同，那到底是有联系还是没联系呢，是不是通过研究旧理论的时候发现了他的错误――说明还是从旧理论出来的，只是酒瓶装新酒。还是他想了别人完全没有想过的东西？这点很关键。如果你把这段发展成，因为他想了别人没有想到的东西，所以证明了旧的是错误的，发现了新规律，还切题一些。不然你又跑远了……
还有，堆例子是没有用的。重点是你的例子能不能support你的idea。 比如收Lois的例子，我就不知道你想说明什么。他被称为什么，来自哪里，是什么专家，与传统作对，最后有大作为。 你看，你说了这么多，只有 一句，与传统作对，是跟主题相关的。。其他的跟主题有联系么？这里的主题是指题目的方向，而你的topic sentence，根本是要批评旧理论的坏处的，跟这个例子不搭边……。）

In general, （还以为你要结尾了。。。看到后面还有一段。不结尾干嘛要用“总的来说”。。。）old ideas is not bible of doing anything. There exist many spheres that have not being discovered and considered by us human beings. In sum, the statement as the speaker contends is too extreme. Sometimes depending only on the existing thought may be unuseful or even harmful.

嗯，说的可能重了一点，
我万分理解每次作业都是花心思写了的，被批肯定挺难受的。。。
不过呢，我这也只是一家之言，mm觉得对的就接受，不对的不理会便是了。
现在批狠一点，后面可以写更好的～～
