It is an eternal argument between the artist and the critic that who gives the really lasting value to society. And the speaker believes it is just the artist, not the critic who makes contribute on society development, but, I do not very support the conclusion. There are inviolable functions from each of them, so that a coexistent between them will be the best way to our modern society.

First of all, as we known, Artists continually create the fruits in any of domain in order to accomplish their own recognized and improvement, while furnishing the world of human's mind. The creating process needs artists strongly emotions, passion and creative impulse as the determinants of success. One can obsess with the melody of Beethoven, enjoys in the ceiling of Sistine Chapel produced by Michelangelo, linger with the paintings by Dali and satisfies the story of Romeo and Julie. All the imitate creatures come from the outstanding artists and actually become the significant contribution on history of human beings. Without the working by such masters, unfortunately, one's mind would be simple and only left with basic needs. In the sense, the artist plays an irreplaceable role in no matter when the times are.

However, it is not wise if we ignore the great benefit from the critic, because the existence of the critic provides a way of differentiating artistry. The critic help people to formulate a system-judge and note what kinds of art are benefical to the person’s development and the progress of society. Pulitzer Price is a sound example. Annual a group of critics holds a commendation on the produces handed up, and determines which one has the most significant meaning or open influence. The critics objectively give persons a guide to obtain the more valuable knowledge and information. If there were not Pulitzer Price and other critic institution, some of people, even most of them would fail to gain the opportunity to feel spirit of the best writers. Meanwhile, the existence of critics not only impromptus the art, but also inspires the artist's creature.

In addition, the critic, to some degree, is as important as the artist. For instance, when a creature is creating, the artist-not like to be critic-has to improve the quality of his/her work, while the critics who always have their own regulation and goals will suspiciously look over the works. This objectively produces an evaluation to works of art, such as novels, films, paintings and so forth. In this rapid development of era, the human's civilization cannot get a great advance unless both critics and artist work together.

In sum, without each of them, our society will suffer from a large amount of questions and eventually leads to confuse on culture. So, it is necessary to make emphasis on both artists and critics.

lasting value 在我写的时候没注意，也没想太多。。。。
在b1 贝多芬等例子 是想强调艺术家创造的价值是长久的，可能用的不准确，看了反而想到别的方向了吧
b2 的最后一句是想起到一个总结的作用 可能没写好哈
