Is all faculty at the level of college and university need to work outside the academic world in the effort to improve the instruction as the speaker claims? In my opinion, I cannot agree with the speaker more except on the point that all faculty should be required to spend time working outside the colleges or universities for this requirement may not suitable for some subjects.

As we known that, although working experiences are important in helping improve the quality of instruction, some disciplines, especially some theoretic disciplines like theoretic physics and philosophy do not need to working outside the academic world for they are not practical subjects, and what they focus on are theories rather than practices. Labs in colleges and universities are the best places to do the research and gain some academic experiences for the professors of these disciplines.

However, subjects except these theoretic courses may need some experiences in working outside academic world, because there are many adventures for faculty and students both. First of all, these experiences may help professors to make the course more colorful and practical. When a professor works outside colleges and universities, he/she may contact with the latest information and fresh insight which can attract students' interests in the profession relevant to the course they are teaching, not just the fixed knowledge comes from books. For example, the most popular professor in the university where I am studying in now is the one who can make the classes lively with handling a lot of stories that related to the course. Also, a professor in Business School must know something about the true business world, like some exact cases in business success and failure, which can help students to comprehend their course better. Working outside academic world can make faculty become up-to -date, and instill more fresh air to the courses they teach.

In addition, if a professor has some experiences working outside academic world, he/she may give some exact instructions to students on their career deciding. Working outside colleges and universities makes them be familiar with the current job market so they can provide some useful information about
the changing and demanding in the employing field relevant to their profession, while career advisor in the universities cannot gives to the students.

Besides, working in society can also help the professor to achieve his/her goal easier. Working outside colleges and universities can lead faculty to know the emergency problem or some controversial issues in the society which makes professors to have some inspirations on their academic researches. A professor who finds a problem that worth researching through his/her working process may make him/her to achieve a big goal in the professions.  

In sum, faculty at college and university level should work outside the academic world for experience to improve the quality of instruction, while the working experiences can make them not only to make the courses they teach to be more practical but also can achieve themselves, whereas, not all faculty need to work outside, only that disciplines related to the society experiences, not the theoretic ones.

Besides, working in society can also help the professor to achievehis/her goal easier. Working outside colleges and universities can leadfaculty to know the emergency problem or some controversial issues inthe society which makes professors to have some inspirations on theiracademic researches. A professor who finds a problem that worthresearching through his/her working process may make him/her to achievea big goal in the professions.  

In sum, faculty at college and university level should work outside theacademic world for experience to improve the quality of instruction,while the working experiences can make them not only to make thecourses[根前面的有点重复，make the courses的make最好删掉] they teach to be more practical but also can achievethemselves, whereas, not all faculty need to work outside, only thatdisciplines related to the society experiences, not the theoretic ones.

整体上看这边文章思路还是很清晰的，但是论证过程中的后两段没有相应的论据，更加没有对论据的展开了，还好的是都对论点做出了比较好的阐释。
