I strongly agree with the speaker’s assertion that one certain field of study needs knowledge and experience from other fields of study. Since the world of knowledge is an immense web which knitted with all disciplines, almost any field of study is connected with others. Without the cooperation and communication with each other, no field of study can survival let alone advance significantly.

Actually, no field of study can operate in vacuum, or in the other word, no discipline is completely independent and separates from the knowledge from outside. For instance, the study of sea environment is complex and wide, which needs the knowledge of chemistry, biology and so on. The new development of chemistry and biology can inevitably affect the study of sea environment, without the outsiders from these relevant fields who bring their new discovery and experience to the field, this discipline will encounter great difficulty in advancing. Likewise, pedagogy needs the knowledge of psychology to a great extent, teachers and people who research the field of education must understand the feelings and thoughts of students very well, and only under this circumstance, education can be effective. A more persuasive example is the radioactivity, which used in the cancer treatment, is the important task in the physics field. Lacking of the efforts of physicists who study the radioactivity, the cancer treatment cannot be even started. Only when the physicists achieve the progress in the research radioactivity, can the area of medicine can have the possibility to solving the problems of cancer.

Outsiders not only bring their experience and knowledge, but also offer necessary methods and approaches. Study of literature needs the approaches of aesthetics to appreciate the excellent works so that the learners can understand the elite of literature then create writings with aesthetic meaning. Media management is another example. With the rapid development, the area of media is becoming more and more various and complex, so a normative management is necessary. Business management provides experience and knowledge which meets the needs of media, and such methods are proved to be effective and efficient. Whether we recognize or not, methods of thinking from philosophy is the essential and final guide of every research areas, in other words, every scholars need the proper world views and methodology, which from the study of philosophy.

In today's process of globalization, not only the thoughts and value of various nations are showing the tendency to mix, the fields of study are also cooperating and interacting to a high extent. This trend is contributing to the births of the new disciplines, which are generated in the foundation of two or even more fields of study. Public administration is emerged under the interaction of politics, biology and psychology. Astronomy and physics have born a new subject --- astrophysics. These new fields assimilate the merits of the original disciplines and broaden the research areas to meet the needs of society and technology development, their prosperity certainly break through the limitation of certain field, which is mainly due to the contributions of the "outsiders" .

In sum, the advancements of almost any fields of study cannot without the help of the outsiders, who not only provide the knowledge and experience, but also the better methods and approaches to them. Only with the cooperation of different disciplines, researches in all kinds of areas can advance significantly so that human can get the continuous progress as time goes by.
