和新动力(momentum)的车，明星可以利用他们影响力号召大家保护环境，普通的民众可以从小事做起：不用一次性（one-off tableware）餐具，
不用塑料袋( plastic bag)，少开私家车，多骑自行车。

In the author's view, he comes to his assertion that government should preserve publicly owned
wildness areas in their natural state. As far as I am concerned, I entirely agree with his view.
The environmental problems have become a serious and troublesome one to handle with for our human.
It is certain that government will play a important role in protecting environments, however,
Statesmen, scientists , superstars and populace should also be accountable for our environment.

As is known to all, the environmental problems have become the most important things in relation
of our human's development and existence. Many serious issues such as the ecological deterioration,
the extinct of species, the damage of the ozone layer, the desertification of land, the acrid rain,
the Green House effect and the soil erosion have given rise to lots of threat to human livings and
health .What is worse, some parts in Australia become the first places of drinking regenerable water
in the world because of lack of the drinkable water. Faced with so many problems, we have to admit
that there is still a long way to go in solving these problems and keeping a balance between economic
development and environmental protection.

As is mentioned in the author's contention, the wilderness areas are often extremely remote and thus
accessible to only a few people. As a matter of fact, many researches such as the geological research
and ecological research can benefit a lot from the feature of the wilderness areas .By having a detailed
study of the evolution of local species and the food chain, ecologist can have a more comprehensive
appreciation about the progress and feature of evolution in such a condition with no interference from
external .By analyzing the undestroyed soil beneath the surface, geologist can predict the weather condition
and movement of the earth long time ago which can be helpful for us to realize influence on atmosphere
brought by our industrialization. So, such wilderness areas without exterior disturbance embody
high geological and ecological values for research.

Moreover, we must realize the fact that government have an great influence in the progress of environmental
protection. Nowadays, the serious environmental problems exist in many countries, especially for the undeveloped
ones. One of the most crucial things which lead to the ineffective protection contributes to the unscientific
series of laws about environmental protection. Government should establish more laws and principles to limit
the pollution and make restrictions for the highly-polluted enterprises. Furthermore, government can utilize
the media to indoctrinate more environmental awareness to the public and make use of educational system to
render young aware of the significance of environmental protection.

Besides, it is not only the government's function to protect environment but also our populace's obligation
and responsibility to do so. Fortunately, all kinds of people in various fields are serving to protect the
environment by their owe means. Statesmen make more scientific and rational plans for keeping the balance between
the economic development and environmental protection. Scientists explore more new energy sources such as the
nuclear energy and solar energy which pollute far less than the original energy and cars with new momentum
rather than gasoline. Superstars pay more attention to participating in the movements of protecting environment
which have a positive effect on people's behaviors. Our populaces do small things such as no use of one-off tableware,
no use of plastic bags and more cycling instead of driving our cars. So, most of us have realized the importance of
protecting environment and do a force to protect it.

In sum, I contend that it is crucial and emergent for all of us to protect environment. Only through the long
way to overcoming these problems given above, can not only human nowadays have a more health living conditions
but also be beneficial to our offspring.
