The arguer recommends that all their stores should discontinue stocking many of their varieties of imported cheese and concentrate primarily on domestic cheeses. Only doing by this can they improve their profits. To prove the conclusion, the arguer points out that five best-selling cheeses in a newest store of them were all domestic cheese last year. In addition, he cites a survey result from a magazine to show that preference for domestic cheeses is increasing. However, the conclusion is problematic in some aspects.

In the first place, there arguer uses the condition of a segment to stand the whole which is unreasonable. Though the five best-selling cheeses in a newest store are domestic cheese last year, there is no sure that other stores will have the same condition. Different locations cause different tastes of people. It is entirely that residents in other places are fond of imported cheese. So the arguer can not get conclusion that residents in other places are also like domestic cheese only referring to a newest store's result.

In the second place, the arguer makes a false assumption that the newest store will also sell domestic cheese well in the coming years as last year. Maybe the residents think it is a new store and they want to taste the domestic cheese and after this they think it is not good as imported cheese. So next year they will change to choose imported cheese. Therefore there is no guarantee that in the coming years domestic cheese will still sold well.

In the third place, the arguer cites a survey result which lacks statistical meaning. Only by the result of a magazine, we can not be convinced that the preference for the domestic cheese is truly increasing. Maybe this magazine is read only by several people and the result just reflects their opinion and can not represents most people's preference.

Last but not least is that there is no implication that the sale condition now is not good. If the sale is in a good condition, there is no need to change current strategy and break good condition.

In sum, this argument is not persuasive as it stands. In order to convince us, the arguer must make more survey to ensure that domestic cheese is more popular than imported and give enough proof that the sale of domestic cheese is continuous good. To strengthen the convincing of the survey result, the arguer should supply more concrete information to show that the preference for domestic cheese is truly increasing.

The arguer concludes that the so-called Palean baskets were not unique to Palea. However, it suffers several fallacies.
1. There is no record that The Brim River existed at that time. Maybe it occurs later.
2. There is no record to show that The Brim River is very deep and broad at that time. Maybe it was very dry at that time and there is little water in the river.
3. No evidence of indicating the Paleans' use of boat does not mean there is no evidence. Maybe the evidence is lost or has not been found.
4. Though there is no need for the Paleans to cross the river, other people in the next side of the river could cross the river and came to the place of the Plaeans.

Syllabus:
1. There is no concrete proof to show the population of fish is the result of overfishing in Tria's waters. Mabye other factors like dumping and offshore oil drilling out 20 miles of Tria.
2. No significance decline does not mean that effort of Omni is effective.
3. There is no proof showing that it is the best solutions without comparing with other methods.
