Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

As far as I am concerned, the primary aim of education is to convey the knowledge to people, to ensure them adaptable to the living environment, thus develop adequate value about the world and keeping critical thinking. Most importantly, the subjects of education inevitably include all citizens, old and young, smart and retarded, which should be treated with appropriate strategies respectively.

First of all, the approach of education, in terms of curriculum setting, teaching facilities, class activities and guiding should be subjected to consideration of variety of students. Because the process of education is a interactive corporation between teacher and students, we should not ignore the status and needs of the physical and intellectual capacities and characteristics of receptors of direction and instructions supplied by the educator. For example, in the special school or classes opened to deaf or numb students, the teaching material varied necessarily from the counterpart of normal student. The text book would be specially customized as Braille and the communication have to be carried out by gesture language which made possible of effective expression of their meaning and concept. On the other hand, if we treated them with the same discipline as we supply to normal students, such as multimedia teaching facilities--television, projector, microphone and headset .etc, the effects would be prove in vain that the student could neither perceive the essential knowledge and instruction nor able to communicate and consult with others to express their thoughts.

When it comes to the specific classes for retarded children,  the curriculums and approaches of teaching should be customized, too. Although born with inabilities or insufficient intelligence, these people have definitely rights to receive education to earn a better life status. Therefore the discipline they require would be guide by the consideration for sake of the basic abilities for living and taking care of themselves. What they need was neither abstract theories for physics or chemistry, nor literature poem or verses, but the process of wearing cloth, taking basic talks and telling his identities when they got lost. Consequently, the educator would definitely takes account of their status and needs, leading to proportional teaching style and materials.

Similarly, there are different school ranging from kindergarten, preliminary school, to high school and even university. Student with different physical and mental status would choose to appropriate school to acquire suitable discipline and instructions. In primary school, they learn the basic arithmetic and calculation, when they enter college, they may choose calculus or matrix theory courses to become competent for engineer or architecture projects. In some sense, the education would be best executed by customized to every individual thus they could most efficiently distribute and arrange their curriculums and teaching activities. However, every coin has two side, more customize and more personal designed, more education resources such as teachers, classroom, textbook, facilities would be required, this is unrealistic for some country especially those underdeveloped and suffering enormous population requiring needs of education.

In conclusion, the education would be best conveyed and functioned with customizing to individuals, in virtue of their physical and mental capacities, to meet the proportional needs respectively. While the limitation of education of resources would become the barrier of this approaches, thus we should pursuit a balance between the general and individual's sake.

感觉这篇文章对于题目的回应还不是很全面:论述了需要有不同的学校,不同级别的学校,或者专门针对某些人群的学校。这些其实都是社会上已经完成了的任务;但是题目里的“individual needs and interests of each student”,这个“each”在文章里却没有得到应有的回应。
