2 无可否认，当今的旅游变得越来越商业化。电视和互联网经常和旅游公司合作，提供人们大量的关于旅游的有价值的信息，比如旅游的行程，交通工具，城市的天气及交通状况，还有住宿等，使人们的旅行更方便，同时旅游中介之间的竞争使顾客受益，旅游者可以lower charge but better service.因此，electronic media实际上促进了旅游业的发展。
3 真正的旅游是电视或互联网的画面无法取代的，它使人们对各地的自然风光，民族文化，历史有了更深的了解，同时使人们摆脱工作的压力，给人好心情。人们通过可以吃到特色的美食，交到好朋友，这些都是美好的回忆，是电视节目无法取代的。
4 从过去到现在，旅游都扮演着重要的角色，旅游可以增进国家之间的相互了解，使不同国家，不同种族的人们相互理解和尊重。此外，旅游带动消费，从而促进一个地区或国家经济的增长，因此，旅游是一个趋势，它不会因为television and the internet而改变。

Will tourism soon become obsolete due to televisions and worldwide computer connections, as the speaker claims? Of course not. In my point of view, the more interests of places people become familiar with through televisions and the internet, the more travels they would take to these famous places.

Admittedly, with the development of science and technology, people can enjoy their leisure time through watching a television or browsing the internet at home. The electronic media provides people the beautiful scenes, different cultures and traditions, magnificent historical architectures by the vivid video records and audient demonstrations. People can better understand the pleasure of traveling than reading a holiday brochure. And the internet seems to give us more information. For example, the most economic vehicle for traveling, the detailed schedule of tourism, the weather and traffic situation of the city you plan to visit, the accommodation and etc. Although televisions and the internet content with people's desires of tourism by providing such a huge quantity of traveling information, it does not satisfy people's curiosity of touring. On the contrary, it inspires the nature of human beings-to find out and experience the real stimulations and happiness personally.

We cannot deny that tourism tends to be commercialized in the contemporary world in consideration of the electronic media. When we take a look at the internet or open a television, innumerable advertisements about tourism quickly come into our mind. They provide not only concrete and diverse schedules of tourism but also different levels of services you could enjoy. What is more, you can find out your favorite traveling by comparing the prices of services supplied by distinct touring agencies. Obviously, the cooperation between the electronic media and numerous traveling agencies bring us a clear cognition about traveling, it has been proved by our interests in the touring advertisement on television programs or net pages. Moreover, it is the competitions among the traveling agencies that benefit our customers a lot. If the services of tourism are better and the charges for them are lower, what are we waiting for? Therefore, the electronic media, to a huge extent, has facilitated the modern tourism industry, it not only inform people how can enjoy a good time in the journey but also provide a large board of choices for people with different economic conditions..

Nonetheless, the electronic media is just an instrument for our better understanding of tourism since the real experience of traveling cannot be substituted by a video program or several emulating photographs. For one thing, tourism could bring you a real visional, audient and gustatory pleasure, for instance, the beautiful nature, the amazing languages, the delicious foods and the distinct faces of people with different culture backgrounds which would significantly surpass what you imagine from the pictures. The more important, we can escape from the stress of work, relax ourselves and have a good feeling when we visit our dreaming places. By communicating with the natives, we can learn more about the local traditions such as the habits of diet or the meaning of remarkable appearance and also we can know more about their religious faith, political ideas and their long history. I bet that no one can really understand the pyramids in Egypt without a tour to this mysterious country and if you want to know why the Arabians have so extraordinary mores such as the women should wear the black veils, the best way for you is traveling to these countries personally. The process of traveling is a fantastic thing from which we open our eyes, augment our knowledge and experience and also make friends, all these memories would become a great treasure in our whole lives.

When we take a brief history retrospect, we would find that tourism constantly plays a vital role in enhancing the communications of people from different continents. It is Marco Polo's traveling that brings the affluent eastern culture to the western world. And even today, the traveling among diverse nations deepens the comprehension and respect of different counties. It also becomes the connection of people with remarkably different cultures, values, religions and ideas. For example, by visiting the Great Wall, tourists from America would admire the architectural skills of the ancient Chinese and if the Chinese people have a tour of New York city, especially a view of the Statue of Liberty, they would appreciate the modernization and American's pursuit for freedom. Then, the mutual respect will be deeply embedded in the minds of citizens from the two countries. What is more, tourism definitely ameliorates the economy of some countries. Consider Australia and New Zealand, their beautiful sights, fresh air and agreeable climate in all seasons attract many tourists to come and shop annually. Obviously, it is tourism that stimulates the local consumption and further the development of economy of these countries. We all know that the traveling industry has become the most essential industry in some countries such as Thailand or Malaysia.

To sum up, I concede that tourism will never be out-fashioned in the high tech developing era. In fact, the electronic media do inspire people's interests in the tourism and in today's modern world, tourism becomes a tendency for people relaxing themselves and consuming. In addition, tourism improves the communications of people from different backgrounds and facilitates the development of economy in some regions or even the whole country.
