I agree (with) the notion that one could learn well only when he/she is taught with things which he/she(直接he泛指了就行吧?) is interested in and that are necessary to him/her. However , it is difficult to do so through all of one's education(educated) life. Therefor, I would prefer to balance the generalization and the specialization by promoting the former in primary education and the latter in further education.
To begin with , the well known saying "interest is the best teacher" is well proved by plenty of examples. Edison is the best known example who made great achievements in the field which he was interested in and insisted on .We all have learned the stories of him that encouraged us to work hard in the field that we are interested in when we are pupils (这2句话重复,留下1句就可以了吧).The famous stories told that Edison was attracted by the scientific experiments and practice when he was young. He tried to take experiments in his leisure time using the simple instruments he had .Without the interest, one could not work so hard in such difficult environment . And he always insisted on his research even while he met so many difficulties, as his family didn't like him to do the experiments that(because that it) seemed make no benefit to the family. And even when he was hurt by one of his experiments to(and) become (became)deaf, he didn't give up his work on the science. Eventually, he was paied for his hard working in the(去掉) science--he invented the lamp and many other things that changed our life so much and he is now respected by all human beings .
Secondly, as far as I am concerned, I would say that "need is also the best teacher". One will lack the motility to try hard to do something when he/she doesn't feel the(it is) necessary to do so .On the contrast, if you have the need to achieve some goals, you get the pressure from the need and that will reminds you all the time to avoid slacking off. Moreover, when you know exactly what do(去掉) you need , you can endeavor most of your time to study deeply in the specific field and safe your time from losing in the sea of the knowledge . In a word , one can learn better when he/she is studying things that he/she is interested in and feels necessary. Thus, our education must try to meet the needs and interests of our students to let them learn better.
However, there are also disadvantages of designing education for each student from the beginning. Since a whole understanding of the knowledge is necessary to understand the specific aspects that one is interested in. For instant, a student won't be able to understand anything about his/her specialty before he/she can read the words in the text books, before he/she have(has) the common sense to understand the knowledge mentioned in the books. What's more, general cognition is needed to gain communication among individuals. If we are all taught in different ways, there may be little common understanding among each individual. Thus we could not achieve any progress because of the misunderstanding among us. The last but not the least, one can't really know what he/she is interested in and(what is his) needs before he/she has wholly griped the general knowledge. So it may be too early to ask a child to decide what especially field he/she is going to devote in .
To conclude, I think it will be more effective to give generalized knowledge to junior students while they are not mature enough to make the decision for themselves, and to design specific courses for senior students since that will make them work more hard and safe time to learn faster.
hehe 感觉这篇文章的用词,逻辑都不错了, 不过有一个问题, 在构造长句子时, 我看你经常连续2个定语从句, 例如
Edison is the best known example who made great achievements in the field which he was interested in and insisted on
这样虽然没有语法错误, 但是感觉读起来很别扭, 不知道算是地道的用法还是chinglish. |
