I totally agree with the author that how children are socialized determines the destiny of society. Children are the rising sun of the future, they are the hope of the coming days. Only when we help them become an individual and a social being can we expect a better future of the world.

The purpose of education is not only aimed at preparing students to be an unique individual, which although is the vital character for a children, but the effort to prepare them for the society should also be taken into serious account if we expect our children to succeed in the whole life. No one in this world behaves alone that has nothing to do with others, the reason that we can survive is that we are firstly be identified as a social being that are supported by others in the society as a whole. So we are, at the first place, social belongings, if we want to get through our life we should learn to communicate with others and take our responsibility as an society being.

But the problem is that our society pays little attention to help children to establish their feeling as social roles by emphasizing quite a lot, or even to much, about individualism. It is not that we have no solution to help children to get along with the society, the point is that we never consider it crucial. And students may not realize it for they have never try their hands in the society. When they leave school, they are shocked by what they see in the real world. Many college graduates in China complain that social work is so complex which beyond their wildest guess in school, they can hardly get along with the bosses and colleagues.

If we are not aware of the importance of the problem, then our education system will not be able to keep up the pace of development of society. And the students we inculcate are useless in the society that they have to struggle for many years to make themselves  adapt to the society. This is a waste of time and great loss of the society. We should carefully design a better education for our children and for the society.

The best way is to wake up children's feeling as a social being. They should be involved in more works that are closely connected with other people or organizations. They should learn through communication with others that only when they behave as part of a group can they have value. Once the sense of social member established, children will be active in involving in social activities.

From the analysis above, if we are expecting a better future, be alert to cultivate the new generation by sowing the seeds in the field of society and let them grow strong in the fertile earth provided by the society.

Only when we help them become (an individual and a social being) （直接说a social member 更好吧）can we expect a better future of the world.

(你仔细看看 but also都有两个主语了)  No one in this world behaves alone that has nothing to do with others(这两个不算重复吗? Alone和has nothing to do with others. No one’s behaviour in the world has nothing to do with others), the reason that we can survive is that we are firstly be identified as a social being that are supported by others in the society as a whole. 整篇文章没有一个例子很空洞. 不过这是你很早写的所以现在不一定了. 其实如果你写不出什么例子完全可以换个思维 比如说讲讲不止社会化还有别的推动人们进步,(比如科技进步等),还有现在学校的措施.再给你个American Nation Service 的例子.我觉得跟这题挺配的.
