Do you think that young people should take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term?

There is a public debate nowadays about the phenomenon of young people take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term. Those who object to it argue that you should understand the job comprehensive before you engage in it. In their opinion, once you take the job, you must have it as your career. But people who advocate it, on the other hand, claim that, by doing different kinds of job before you choose your career, young people could know better which kind of job he/she should take. I totally agree with the second argument.

First of all, you will never know whether you like the job without doing it for some time. Just as the popular sayings goes, “Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth”. So before you take the right job as your career, you may do lots of experiments and find that these jobs are good but do not fit you. Take Chairman Mao as an example. He had done a lot of other jobs, like as a librarian in university, before he leaded Chinese people to revolution. So young people will know the job they are choosing as a career well. Obvious, it will help young people find the job they really like, and there will be less people to move from one firm to another after working several years.

The second reason is that young people can learn much new knowledge when they are working in different kinds of firms. As we all know, modern society requires us to know more kinds of knowledge, not just a certain kind of expertise. Staffs in different sectors are creating new knowledge continuously. The best way to get this new knowledge and then use them is to working with those staffs that create them. So taking different kinds of jobs before you take a career in a long term will bring you much new knowledge; and those new knowledge will help you a lot in your later career.

The last but not least reason is that young people should know a lot of people before they take a career in a long term, taking several different kinds of jobs is a good and convenient way to make friends with the people who may help you in the future.

To sum up, it is really important for young people to take several different kinds of jobs before they take a career in a long term. So if you are young and have a chance to work, then please do not hesitate to take it and you will get a lot from it.

More vacation time job better than high salary less off vacation time job.

For past decades, it is generally accepted that high salary less off vacation time job is better than more vacation time job. They argue that if you do not have enough money, then why do you need a holiday and how do you spend your holiday. In spite of this belief, I suspect this is not the case.

To begin with, people in modern society need more vocation to relieve their pressure. With the quickening pace of life in modern society, people are under increasing pressure. The phenomenon of suicide is so common because of the pressure that cannot bear. So it is significant for modern people to have more vocation to relieve their pressure.

In addition, people need time to stay with their families and friends. You just think this kind of life: sit in the office every day, all the people you face are your boss and your subordinate day by day, do not have any time to have fun with your loved people in your life. Then can you stand with this kind of life? In this condition, what will you choose: money or vocation?

Furthermore, think about the meaning of your life. For most of people, making money is mere a means, enjoy the life is the purpose. Earn too much money itself is a cumbersome for them, not to mention making money at the expense of the cost of the holidays. A good case in point is that there are more and more freelance in modern society. Compared with money, obviously, free time is vital to them.

To sum up, admittedly, to most of people in modern society who are under great pressure, and regard free time and loved people important, more vacation time job is much better than high salary less off vacation time job.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Professional athletes, such football and basketball players do not deserve high salaries that they are paid.

There is a public discussion nowadays about the problem whether professional athletes, such football and basketball players deserve high salaries that they are paid. Those who criticize this phenomenon argue that they are just ordinary workers in the society, so why should they get so much money? They believe that professional athletes are overpaid. In my own viewpoint, I disagree with this statement. My reasons are as following.

To begin with, think about the great social influence of those professional athletes. As we all know, professional athletes are public figures. What they do will influence a lot of people, especially children. Take NBA players as an example. NBA players, like Lebron James, will go to communities to do some free work every Thanks Giving Day. It is no doubt that what they have done will prompt public think about social morality and social responsibility and this obvious will improve the social civilization. From this point of view, no matter how much money they get, they deserve it.

In addition, not all professional athletes get high salaries, those who get high salaries not only have done much exercises, but also have extraordinary talent. Think about Yao Ming. As we all know, when he was a freshman in NBA, he was so thin that he cannot even score from inside. Then in the following several years, he exercised his strength every day, even when he was in injury recover. Then we all know what happened. Yao becomes an international star. He even completely defeated Shaquille O’Neal, who is considered as one of the greatest center in the world. So do you think this kind of people deserve high salary?

The last but not the least reason is that professional athletes can make a lot of money for the team themselves. A superstar has a lot of fans. And these fans will not only come to see the plays which they should pay the tickets, but also spend a lot of money to buy related commodities, like jersey and sneakers. Besides, a lot of companies will sponsor the team because of the superstar. So from what have been mentioned above, we can see that professional athletes could make so much money for the team. Why shouldn’t they get a portion of money from what they have brought to the team for themselves?

To sum up, based what I have discussed above, we could safely come to the conclusion that professional athletes deserve high salaries that they are paid.

这句话显然还没有完]. As we all know, professional athletes are public figures. What they do will influence a lot of people, especially children. Take NBA players as [an] example. In addition, not all professional athletes get high salaries,[楼主你的全文中心可是反对高薪啊] those who get high salaries not only have done much exercise, but also have extraordinary talent. Think about Yao Ming. As we all know, when he was a freshman in NBA, he was so thin that he cannot even score from inside[你确认内线得分是怎么说的么?]. So do you think this kind of people deserve high salary?[最后这句的意思是,你认为这种人应该拿高薪?

The last but not the least reason is that professional athletes can make a lot of money for the team themselves.[
这里不是谈superstar的功能和作用,他能帮球队赚钱不能说明他个人应该高薪] A superstar has a lot of fans. [论证结构清晰,但是内部论证不够,论据和论点不搭调,例子为什么能说明观点没有交待清楚。其次,语法问题太多,很多时候句子不通。词汇limited]

人生那么短,不要浪费在失败和幻觉上面。
