The lecture is mainly discussing polar dinosaurs, legs position ,and growth rings to show that dinosaurs are not endoderms,  challenging what are stated in the reading passage .

First of all, the speaker thinks that polar dinosaur fossils don’t necessarily to reveal that dinosaurs are endotherms because the polar region was not as cold as these days or the dinosaurs may hibernate or migrate to the warm area during the cold seasons. In contrast, the reading passage
takes the polar dinosaur fossils as an envidenceto support the opposite viewpoint. So, the lecture totally disagree with the view made in the reading.

Second, the speaker discusses the dinosaurs legs position is to support weight, Contradicting what is stated in the reading that the legs underneath the body is to empower running in endotherns animals.

Finally, the speakers raises the issue that the dinosaurs bone structure study to show that many dinosaurshave both haversian canals and growth rings. The growth rings reveal that the dinosaurs have different growth rate instead of grow steadily like endoderm animals during different weather.
This point refutes that dinosaurs are endotherms because of the haversian canals demonstrated in the reading.

So the contents in the reading passage are totally jeopardized by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topics made in the reading.

“People holding different views cannot achieve success as a team”

I agree with the statement thatpeople holding different views cannot achieve as a team.
First of all, people in a team holding different views cannot work efficiently.For example, one person provides a new idea in the project which most of the team members agree but a few disagree. When they are doing the teamwork , people who disagree with the idea must have some negative feelings and may not work cooperatively which may result in low work efficiency. So it’s hard to say a team with low efficiency can success.

Furthermore , a team with different views cannot against a team who share the same point. This is very apparent in sports games like soccer or basketball.
If everybody in the team holds the voice that they should win the game, they will work hardly for the very same object.Besides they will support and encourage spiritely with each other. We can always see the team who can work cooperative well win the game.

Finally, holding a common view has a positive effect on people’s attitude.Can you imagine people keep being late while the others come early and go home late in a team?People may be changed by other team members to reach a common place.A team is more likely to achieve success in a friendly and thoughtfully environment. I believe everybody will enjoy being a team and performing like a team.

To sum up,only a tem holding same views can work efficiently and theyhave more opportunity toagainst other teams in an everybody enjoyable environment.

The speaker of the lecture and the reading passage have different viewpoints about the memoir of Chevalier de Seingalt in the following areas: whether Chevalier was wealthy, the accuracy of his conversation with the famous writer Voltair and whether he escaped from the jail in Venice.

First, the speaker of the lecture thinks Chevalier is wealthy because evidence that shows he borrows money from merchant doesn’t necessarily mean he is poor. Although he is wealthy he may need to borrow money when he is waiting his assets being transferred into cash. While in the reading, the author concludes that Chevalier is poor because of borrowing money.

Second, the speaker refute about the accuracy of the memoir. The evidence shows that Chevalier wrote down each night after interviewing with the famous people and he tried to remember every detail about the conversation. During the composing of the memoir, Chevalier referred a lot to his writings and journals. On the contrary, the reading casts doubt about the accuracy of the memoir because nobody can recount a conversation accurately that happens many years ago.

Finally, the speaker substantiates that Chevalier escapes from a jail in Venice. The evidence from the document of the government who was in charge of the jail at that time indicated they repaired the ceiling of the jail where Chevalier was confined right after he escaped. They needn’t to repair it if it was not broken by someone. Besides, there were a lot of other prisoners who were more powerful than Chevalier couldn’t bribe to free, which casts doubts on the viewpoint in the reading.

To sum up, the speaker of the lecture thinks the memoir of Chevalier is very accurate and reliable which is totally different with the viewpoint of the reading passag .

With the explosive development of science and technology, every factors of our society seem improved.Have we put enough attention to improve our education system during the process of developing our country?
In my viewpoint, improving school is the most essential part of developing a country.

First of all, individuals are the fundamental part of a society and how well a country is depends on how well educated the citizens are.If the citizens have more opportunity to get an advanced degree, they may learn more skills which can be used after graduating from schools.The students who graduate with more skills tends to find a job because the companies are more likely to hire more effective people to benefit the company.
The productivity of the companies has been raised, which may lead to the development of our country.

Second, improving schools will ensure us a harmony and stable society to live.All the school aged children should have the chance to attend a school no matter where they are born. For example, the teenagers should go to school and get well prepared to get to their jobs.There are more teenager crimes in some countries . So we should at least encourage the children finish their high school before going to find a job. If the children have been taught the right values, they will try to stay away from crimes and do only things that can benefit our society.In my viewpoint, a country with harmonies can develop quickly.

Finally, a good education system is an important sign of developed countries.For example, in America or Canada, the public schools are free from kindergarten to high school for all the residents no matter where they are from. In addition, the public schools provide free transportation to all students.All of this gives everybody
an equal opportunity to improve themselves. As a result, every citizen can at least have a high school diploma in the society. After graduating from a high school, most of the students can attend a college or a university. All the students can apply for loans or scholarship from school if they need any financial assistance.A lot of talented people have found their interests and shined in the specific field such as the scientists and engineers who develop many new technologies to facilitate our life.

To sum up, improving schools play an significant role in the developing of a country. A well improved education system can bring us effective working people ,a harmonious and stable society to live, and get more developed in the future.
