fellowship first year and a teaching position most likely in subsequent years (up to a total of 5 years of aid)
"The fellowship will be include a tuition waiver and a waiver of all but about
$500 in fees each semester. It will also include a stipend of about $14,150
for the Fall and Spring semesters (September to May).
In addition, we have awarded you a fellowship in the amount of $3,000 for
the Summer 2008 session."
看来UIUC的comm是需要比其它学校更久才能毕业的，而且给国际学生TA相当谨慎，通常是需要他们第一年接收培训，因为教的课是public speaking。
