There is no denying(of) the fact that televisions are very helpful for us to gain knowledge, but to my knowledge, they can not replace the books in our learning process, both meams(means)
are important that we can not say which is better or from which we can learn more. There are numerous reasons why I hold that opinion, here I would like to explain a few of the most pertinent ones, as follows. 3 j: k3 o- G: Z3 z$ y. t

Admittedly, TV sets are very popular these days because of the high efficiency and the vivid imagery (image) both of which can not be found in books. Thanks to the modern technology, by watching TV, we can know the latest and even live events, thus a better understanding of the world can be achieved. Books, however, need a lot of time to write, edit and print, which made them lack the efficiency. As a result, when you need some up-to-date knowledge, watching television is a better option than reading books. Moreover, knowledge gained from television usually leaves a greater impression on a person than does knowledge gained from books. When watching TV, we can enjoy the (去掉) pictures, hear the voice, which are more interesting and impressive than words. Furthermore, television can make the learning process more fascinating. For example, NBC's sitcom FRIENDS is very helpful in my English learning. It is fun and from which I learned many phrases and sentences. It makes learning English an interesting thing.
Though there are many advantages in watching TV, it does not mean that books are not important. They have their own benefits that TV can not take the place of them. Firstly, there are many abstract things which can not be transformed to images. For example, how can you express the meaning of "metaphysics" by TV. Secondly, books are more convenient. You can not take a TV set whenever you go, but a book is totally fine. Whenever you are free, you can get the book and read some lines thus more information is absorbed. In addition to these, while television confines us to the certain images, books encourage us to expand the imagination, which is of great significance not only in the learning but also in our lives. From the words in the book, we can create a wonderland in our minds. Last but not the (去掉)least, books have existed for thousands of years, we have a huge accumulation of books covered all subjects, while as a newly-developed technology, television only has a history of less than one hundred years. It is obvious that books convey our culture.
Q0 _
From what have been discussed above, I think it is clear that both watching television and reading books are important, we can learn as much as we want from any (either) means. So we just can not say which one which is better or from which we can learn more. Instead of judging them, we should make best use of both methods.
LZ这次写的很好啊,进步非常大哦,不仅语法错误少,而且论点鲜明且表达贴切,两个观点的益处都写得很充实.没什么好挑剔的了,呵呵.
BTW,谢谢你的认真批改,很到位 |
