School education is imperative for one’s success ,to some extent ,we can never imagine living in a world that there is no teaching .However, based on the effort of one paying out or the gorgeous achievement ,by which mean to award student is more reasonable ,are matters of debate. To me, I am in favor of the former idea and the conspicuous reasons and instances are as follows.

To begin with ,Success means continuous efforts and failures. You can hardly find a person success with ease, even concerning some trifling matters. An obvious case in point is that scientific research needs unending contribution and efforts. Sometimes a result came after several generations’ work .In this sense, hard working as a criterion to encourage and award researchers is quite sensible .For students the situation is similar ,a pupil may perform well at his elementary education, but whether he can still appear exceptional during his high school time or college is uncertain, not to mention future competition . Thus some seeming accomplishments are tiny and ephemeral and only hard working can result in final success.

Another essential factor should be highlighted that students prized according to their effort has something to do with their psychical and mental development .Common sense tells us that school is a shrunken society in which children learn many social skills and try to behave like a man gradually. If on the school playground students awarded only by good grades ,their virtue advance may be distorted. Because they will spare no effort to achieve good grade to get the award. Thus more problems like cheating, greed ,and violence are more stiff nowadays .School gun killings are the manifest instances to explain the horrible consequence that abnormal psychology can bring to us. Considering the Irreplaceable role that school education plays in the process of one’s growing up, being awarded by effort is the first consideration.
Additionally, it is widely acknowledged that studying is a long life journey and hard work is a traditional quality that we should always bear in mind .Not only in school but also in our future life hard work is the requisite factor toward to success.

In conclusion ，from the aspect of hard work’s merits both on individual and the whole society .School education should award students through their hard work rather than the achievements.
