As today’s society is becoming more and more competitive, people work much harder than before. They are willing to work for extra time which they refused before. Also, the sense of competing speared into the university. The undergraduate students either try to find a job early before graduate, or prepare for a further study to ensure a better position in the future. In a word, people are all racing with the time. During this competition, many people find themselves lost when they back off their past. It is always hard for a person to maintain his/her initial goal when it comes to the force of such a society. So as far as I am concerned, I totally agree that it is essential to have the ability to plan and organize as modern life become more complex.

To begin with, students at all ranges should develop the ability to plan and organize. First, students should be capable to plan and organize if they want to improve the efficiency of learning. For example, making a time schedule is always the most effective way to study faster. With the time schedule, students know clearly about what they should do at the certain time. What’s more, as the schedule often limits the period of each course, it also requires students to deal with the limited time, which would benefit students to handle tests and tasks more efficiently.

On the other hand, for those who are preparing for employment, the ability to plan and organize is significant. As they will soon start a brand-new life, they should project the plan includes not only about their careers but also their life schedules. This time, the limit on the schedule changes from days to years, students are doing a plan which will have an effect on their entire life. Keeping everything along this plan can certainly ensure you a life that is always what you want, also it helps you remind your goal all the time. For instance, my brother found himself lost when he graduated from school, although he found a job, he was not happy because just to have a stable job is not he wanted. At that time, he was suggested to plan a well-organized schedule for his next ten years and try hard to fulfill it. During this period, my brother felt happier as everything was on the go.

To sum up, the ability to plan and organize is always important throughout the whole life. If a person has a goal to pursue, a well-organized plan is considerably necessary.
