The lecture completely refutes the passage about writer doubt on people prescribed fire. it is said in the lecture that human use prescribed fire as an effective and economical tool.

First of all, contrary to the belief in the passage that prescribed fire cause series of environmental pollutions, the lecture said that fight fire could served as a powerful force of change in nature. Because some leaves decay so slow, fire them could reduce these materials to ash. In addition, fire this material could decreasing the forest fuels and avoid wildfire strike in forest.

Secondly, the professor also refuted the fact that prescribed fire can be dangerous. on the contrary, he argued that people feel comfortable when they hear the idea of fire burning, and prescribed fire is much safer, because participants are all get full preparation and well train.

Finally, the professor offered a different opinion in the passage and contradicted that in fact, prescribing fire just relatively small cost, if the wildfire happen in forest, the cost of fighting fire
is ten times higher than prescribed fire.
