Advices from elder friends are more valuable than peers?

There is an old saying goes: a friend in need is a friend indeed; whereas, humans would like to inquire suggestions from their friends. As soon as mentioned whose advices are more essential, elder friends or those with similar ages? People will have distinctive views to respond. But from my perspective, I focus on that what kind of situations people face, then determined whose are more valuable. This passage will discuss it with more details.

Advice from elder friends who are experienced will avoid people from getting into bypass. Generally, what they got through could assist them to obtain stable minds and mature hearts, which let them provide appropriate suggestions based on their experience. For instance, when young people just start working in one corporation, they may not know how to communicate with others from different levels. As a green hand, youth need to practice a lot to be involved in new environment, also to enhance their technological skills. Elder friends, under this situation, can show the method of how to overcome it smoothly. As they already passed through these similar positions. Their suggestions cannot be compared with those who have experienced nothing. Hence, advice from elder friends is more valuable in this case.

On the other hand, peer friends should understand each other’s life better than elder friends. People who were born from different times have distinctive views about the world and life. Two decades ago, blind date was popular as young people at that time were too shy to meet boyfriends or girlfriends by themselves freely. Meanwhile, there were not special entertainments for them to hang out. Hence, it is hard for them to trust people could make friends on internet or go shopping from online stores in modern society. Peer friends would show more good advices about which store has promotion and which internet game is fun and cheap.

To conclude, suggestions from both elder friends and peer friends would assist people in different ways. It depends on what field they need to handle with. Hence, both are valuable in my viewpoints.
