People have distinctive assignment in their positions. Doctors are obliged to cure the patients, and architectures should be responsible for the designs of buildings. To students, to fulfill their academic achievement is the main propose. Under this situation, schoolwork could assist students to refresh what they learn in the daytime. Hence, I tend to agree with the perspective that teachers need to give them homework every day.

Students should have more or less school assignment to review the knowledge. In China, they have four classes in the morning and another three or four ones in the afternoon. For instance, high school students study math as their first lesson. Through the whole day’s learning, probably they may remember small parts of it. Therefore, homework plays an essential role in helping them to recall the academic studying in math lesson. Besides, it could strength their self-study ability, which could cause them to be independent in pursuing knowledge. In addition, homework is not only one kind, repeatedly writing what they learnt in the class. One time I learnt from the newspaper before winter vacation, students should say “I love you, father and mother”. Based on Chinese culture, Chinese people are not eloquent to express their feelings to family members, particularly to parents. The traditional custom leads Chinese are extremely shy to their closer relatives. This special school assignment aroused people from different areas’ reaction and most of them encouraged young generation to show feelings and appreciation to parents.

Homework could avoid students from being affected by negative social activity. At present, medias are already involved in modern life as adults and students are all attracted after the whole day working and studying. But sometimes some of them are indulged in internet and TV program. That will bring distance among family members and keep students trusting the life in TV show. The worse situation is students spend more time in playing internet game. Appropriate school assignment, such as research and doing a paper, could bring students back and make them focused.

To conclude, teachers should give schoolwork to students the reason is it will refresh students’ memory, so what they study could not be forgotten. On the other hand, homework also brings benefit to them from avoiding negative positions.
