9.19 为大公司工作好还是为小公司工作好

Since the economy has been booming in China in the last three decades, both large corporations and small ones become increasing essential in developing. For the reason is they offer the opportunities for people to achieve themselves. But as long as which kind of group is more effective for humans to take part in, I tend to support that small company is a better place for people to work for. And more evidence will be in the following passages.

People would be versatile by working in a small corporation. Company like that, generally, cannot afford all the working positions, which brings one person to have diverse tasks. But it always leads to favorable position for those who works for small company. To take one of my experiences as an example, when I worked for a small American company as a translator, besides interpreting the article, I was also obliged to be like a receptionist who answered the phone, arranged the meeting; with only a past time accountant in the company, going to the bank to change the check and keeping account were all part of my responsibilities At the very beginning, finance was an unfamiliar field for me, as I had never touched in my college study. Nevertheless, it was the experience in that company that equipped me financial knowledge. Hence, since I have run my online store last winter, accounting turns to be significant in managing it due to having budget, and costs. In addition, busy life of that small corporation provided me the chance to practice myself and assist me to be mature in distinctive areas, which do me a favor in my future work position.

The benefit from big company is attractive but will limit people aggressive. Especially for young generating, it could bring frustrated life, if they would not jump jobs or to have their companies because of focusing on the welfare from the present company. Those people have no desire to pursue challenges as already are restricted within what the advantages they obtained. Some may consider that large corporation has different opportunities to gain various experience but, in fact, specific working position needs more professional employee instead of anyone who could have a try.

To conclude, working in a small corporation, people, in particular youngster, can learn distinct knowledge, which could benefit their future jobs and life. Hence, it is better for people to work in small company.

Nowadays, people in this society are caring more about how much interest they would get from the others, but are feeling numb about how the people around them are, especially their friends. Fortunately, some people have realized this phenomenon and start to argue about what is needed most in a friend today. In my point of view, it’s reliability that a good friend must have.

There’s no doubt that a friend should be reliable. A reliable friend would diminish you grief and double your happiness, since you two would share your secrets without incredulity. Though not intelligent or humorous he is, he would consider your troubles or issues as his own, which means him would help you cordially in all ways he could. He wouldn’t betray you or defraud you soever.

On the contrary, I would feel uncomfortable to share my happiness, amazing stories or any grievance experience with a friend that I consider not reliable, even if he is intelligence or has a sense of humor. Everyone would. And if your friend is one that you are not willing to talk with, this friendship has already lost its meaning at all, from which I could predict with full promise that you two would part with each other in the near future.

Admittedly however, who would care how intelligent or humorous a person is if this guy is an unreliable one? From a friend that is unreliable, his intelligence could be used to get benefits from you and his humor could be used to gibe you. There is a story. One day two travelers went hiking and unfortunately met a bear. The thinner one climbed on a tree as soon as he could despite the fatter one’s asking for help, which made the fatter traveler desperate. Finally the fatter traveler managed to survive by pretended dead. To take this popular fable for example, I can regard the thinner one as definitely an intelligent person, but also definitely not a good friend, considering his unreliability.

Overall, it’s my view that reliability is the most important characteristic a friend should have.
