In the recent years, there is a general controversyover the issue that whether having classes at least eleven months per year isthe most effective education. However, if students can enjoy enoughtime to have a rest, relived themselves from the stressful work, they could enhancethe academic efficiency.

In the second place, through taking a part time jobduring the vacation, students could know their own majors much more than everbefore, which will promote their studying to a large degree. It is well knownthat the most efficient way to studying is definitely learn from the practicalsituation. So a part time job will undoubtedly offer us more opportunities to havea deeper understanding on the knowledge from textbooks Take someone majored incomputer science as an example. If they could only acquire knowledge from classor books, what they have mastered is just the boring basic theories. Nevertheless,if they can experience working as a software engineer for even several days, itis possible that students will find how interesting their major is, since thereis so many chances for them to create their own softwares. Finally, thestudying process will become more effective.

Last but not least, another advantage of holiday isthat it will help the students to find their own interests. More often thannot, the majority of students are ambiguous about their real love. The period vacationis absolutely the right time for them to find and develop what they areinterested in, such as take part in activities like an English camp or a basketballcompetition.
