In the recent years, there is a generalcontroversy over the issue that whether people will spend less time in cookingand preparing food in 20 years later. Although some people may claim that dueto the consideration of health, people will absolutely spend more time oncooking in the future, personally I prefer to support that the time used bycooking will ultimately be largely reduced and I will provide concreteevidences to demonstrate my point of view.

First and foremost, because of the adventof technology, life efficiency will be increased to a large degree, which canalso make cooking more convenient than before. It is well known that along withthe rapid development of technology, numerous high-tech products are introducedin our daily lives, which save us a lot of time. For instance, with the help ofcomputer and internet, we can easily access to large amount of professionalinformation in no second, so we no longer have to do so many time-consuming jobs.Besides, computer also benefit to our ordinary lives, there are so many taskswe can finished just online, such as go shopping, get education, keep contactwith our friends and family members. Since modern invention have benefited usin so many aspects, it is reasonable to suppose that in 20 years later, perhapsthere will be such a useful machine come, who facilitate our cooking process,make it possible for us to spend less time on preparing food.

In the second place, the availability ofabundant convenient goods in the market also promotes us to enhance the cookingefficiency. Under the adjustment of economical laws, products changed to meetthe needs of their consumers. Since nowadays convenience has become the firstthing people would like to consider, commodities in market also turn to be verytime-saving ones. Then when we buy these goods to prepare our food, it willdefinitely simplify the cooking process. For example, we could purchase theinstant food or semi-prepared food home, and just minutes later, the meal will becooked completely.

Last but not least, although people willpay more attention on healthy, besides healthy diet, there will be many othermore effective methods to help. For instance, 20 years later, more sports facilitieswill be invented, which help people to keep fit, or they could eat some extractednutrient to keep healthy or some new advice will be proposed for solvinghealthy problems.

To sum up, taking into account of the discussionmentioned above, we may safely reach the conclusion that after 20 years, peopleare tend to spend less time on cooking.
