10.22 The parents do not understand their children as well today as parents understood their children 50 years ago


With the high speed of development, man are continuing working outside to raise the whole family. More women are also gradually going out due to the increasing economy pressure and their self-satisfaction during working, which is contrast to their previous role in 50 years ago. Under this enormous circustance, children are more or less ignored by their parents who pay most of their attention on their work and they are not understood as well as 50 years ago.

To begin with, the societal pressure are responsible for less time which parents spend with their childrens. Naturally, less time will inavoidable lead to less intimate as before. For example, after a whole day's work, some may be very tired; some may be still angry about their custormers or colleagues. What's more, some may bring their unhappiness to home and criticize others to relieve their pressures. All of these factors cause that parents cannot share with their time with children happily as before. In the past, women always act as the role to care their children or be a listener or be a partner to carry on some activities such as unperiodic talk, or going out to enjoy the natural beauty. Those activities above can strengthen their intimate relations between parents and children. While nowadays, women choose to work as men does, which makes the relationship becomes loose.

Additionally, the modern technology development leads to this phenomenon. In the past, children always obtain their knowledge from their parents such as encounting some puzzeles from daily life or academic study. Their parents will harness these opportunities to communicate with their childrens.Nevertheless, computer or internet can solve these problems better than asking for parents. Searching engines including Google and Sohu enable children to obtain various information. Besides, Children present are willing to spend more time in surfing on internet or playing the online games.All of these new inventions offers them a more fansinating world which is not like the daily life. As a result,they prefer staying in front of computer
to chatting with parents.

In conclusion, children are less understood than 50 years ago due to the fierce societal pressure and morden techonology development.If we want to change this situation, parents should pay more attention on their kids development despite of offering them foods or clothes. More communication will transmit their love to their kids, which will result in the intimate relationship as before.
