In the recent years, with the development of science and technology, more and more people have a car and many other electrical inventions. This requires a lot of energy and causes a general controversy over the issue that whether it is the only effective way to encourage energy conservation by increasing prices of gasoline and electricity. Different people hold different opinions. However, personally I prefer that there are many ways to encourage energy conservation. And I will provide concrete evident to demonstrate my point of view.



First and foremost, we can not only increase prices of gasoline and electricity, but also increase prices of cars and other machines that use electricity. As the price goes by, there will be less people like to use their money to buy these things. And this on one hand can release the use of energy. And government can also encourage inventers to invert some inventions that use other energy instead of gasoline and electricity.



In the second place, government should put an announcement that energy in the earth are very limited, people should value them and use as litter as they can. People should hold together to fight against the energy emptied day. In addition, increasing prices has nothing connected with energy conservation. The people who have a lot of money don't care how much money they spend on gasoline and electricity.



Last but not least, as the number of using the gasoline and electricity increasing, a lot of pollution problems appeared. It is important for people to recognize the problem, by letting people know how serious the problem is can they relies the importance of energy conservation. And I think this is a useful way to save energy.


To sum up, people can use many ways to encourage energy conservation. The most effective way is that let people themselves recognize the importance of saving energy not increase prices of gasoline and electricity.
