10.28 The only effective way to encourage energy conservation is by increasing prices of gasoline and electricity. Do you agree or disagree?

During the latest hundred years, the civilization of human is flourishing at an unparalleled speed, while our planet is unfortunately suffering more and more problems, such as animal extinction, air pollution and source scarce. Some people hold that we should only rely on the marketing to reduce the waste of the precious source. Instead of stopping buying those expensive things, people's fearness drove them to purchase more than they really need. Therefore, the same situation maybe recurs if we just increase the prices of gasoline and electricity without any regulations and laws to regulate people's behavior.

And also, governments could take some vivid but effective measures to avoid the waste of gasoline and electricity. Publisizing the significance of source and the urgent demand for protection would be an excellent one. In fact, many celebrities have already taken the responsibility to publisize the importance of environment protection. A great many of authors and paintists also created numerous art production to wake up people's realization of taking care our pathetic planet and ourselves. Through this way, more and more people would like to take part in the action to conserve our sources. Definitely, this measure could be easier for people to accept as people love to do those things out of their hearts rather than be pushing by high cost they need to cover.

In conclusion, via increasing prices to regulate people's choices is just one method while more other measures need our attention to pay on. After all, the marketing is not going to work at any time and our sources could get better protection if people would love to take the duty.
