11.3 Some people prefer to live in a small town. Others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live in? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

     Nowadays the modern urban city life is not as popular as it used to be，since the endless noise，the crowded streets and the more and more competitive markets domain the big city life。As for me ，a very ordinary person ，I would like to live a relaxed，convenient but not so boring life that only the small town can offer。There are many factors accounting for this as follows。

    First and foremost，I growed up in the big city and I was tired of the impressive and noisy atmosphere and hated the fast pace of life。In order to survive in the big cities，my parents are always occupied with endness work。So does other people around。There is little time left for the relatives and friends to get together for a meal ，let alone a exciting trip to a nearby resort。But in the small town things are absolutely different as they are not under high pressure and earn their living more easily ，and they spare a large amount of time to entertainment。So I always dreamed of living in the small town to lead a more simple，harmony yet enjoyable life。

     Sencondly，the prospects in the small town is more promising for me since my major is marketing and sales。For one thing the finacial crisis in 2008 told us that the market is almost saturate。It is hard to seek for your fortune in the competitive city。For another thing there are variety opportunity in the small town since it is at the high speed of development。All kinds of intelligence are in badly needed。I am sure I am more prestigious and will grasp great attentions there ，so I can show myself completely。

   Finally，My parents are older and older ，suffering from same disease such as losing their hearing，lung disease and so on。They want to live in a silent place where pollution is not so server as in the urbans。Obvously，the remote village is the best choice。However the medical service and traffic transformation is not so convenient。Taking all the factors into consideration I would prefer to live with my parents in the small city。

      What I expect for my future is just a simple，relaxed and convenient life that I can sharing with my children and my parents，so I prefer the life in the small town。
